Nothing about this project piques my interest besides Ariel Lin’s crying face in that poster. Her acting is so good it grabs you even from a film still.

Yeah he’s lisping. Cutest thing ever! It seems like it isn’t such a big deal in S. Korean entertainment actually; Kwon Sang Woo an even bigger star also lisps.

Serious talent right there. I don’t understand Mandarin but the tone and how melodic he talks is A+ level. Obsessed with the way he says “A’Li” in the rain scene and his “What do you think?” when he returns too early from his mission and she questions him about it in ep 22

Most ~*~MODERN~*~ heroines in dramaland annoy me to no end with how they’re written. It’s like they try to balance out all the shitty MLs in older dramas and it’s all so stupid. There’s apparently a fine line between entitled/rude and assertive/principled and they rarely get it right for me. FLs seem to be perfect in everything they do and they keep trampling all over the ML who behave like dumb floormats to appease their leading lady (once they’re in love). So LY was a breath of fresh air. She wanted her freedom and she had her principles, and she kept making questionable decisions but she never lost her appeal for me. She made sense as a character. Well done!

I’m just impressed that the story is coherent and doesn’t drag. Doesn’t hurt that it’s so easy on the eyes either :). Every time I happen to pause on MLs face he’s in the middle of a micro expression that makes him beautiful in another unexpected, innovative way lmao
