Can someone give me a short description of the story? Is he divorced and with a kid? Do they meet years prior and then again after he divorces or do they meet for the first time in the timeline most of the story happens?

I dont mind spoilers since I am not even sure if I will watch it or not.

Female lead marries the older brother, he gets into some sort of accident and everyone thinks he is dead or something, but of course the second female lead is aware of this, he wakes up and has amnesia and she pretends they are a thing.

Meanwhile the female lead is consoled by the younger brother and they find comfort in each other and finally she ends up reciprocating his feelings. The older brother gets into another accident, hits his head OR sees a familiar scene and suddenly gets his memory back. He then tries to get back to his wife but by now she loves the younger brother. Still, she is conflicted about who to choose and in the end decides it is better for everyone else if she leaves....or 1 of the 2 brothers does. Anyway, someone will play the selfless act and "sacrifice" for "everyone’s sake".

The older brother, suddenly, in a moment of selflessness, that does not match his character at all, gives up and tells his brother to go after the female lead. After years apart, the younger brother finds the female lead in some foreign country or rural place in South Korea and they get back together. THE END

P.S. - I really hope I am completely off and this is not what will happen. And I am sorry if I ruined it for you, but I have been watching dramas for a decade and I have a gut feeling it is going towards that direction.

I have not watched episode 4 yet but from the preview at the end of episode 3 and some spoilers I read, let me guess what this whole drama will be about:

If you have watched as far as episode 16, you might as well watch until the end so some loose ends can be tied. There were still some things that were not properly explained, but overall they managed to wrap up the story well.

The end is bittersweet so get some tissues ready. I cried a lot while watching the last 2 episodes.

Overall this is not a bad drama. I liked the characters and their stories. I just think it lacked consistency in some parts and it could have been better written.

This whole drama could be explained by the lyrics of a song in my native language. "Mas quem será, mas quem será, mas quem será, o pai da criança..."

Which in English would be something like "Who could it be, who could it be, who could it be, the father of the child...".

I mean, it is pretty obvious who it is since the beginning but the writers pretend it isnt and think we are all wondering who it is.

And that ending was ridiculous. It could have been a good addition if they had exchanged the position of 2 of the characters. What they did implied that even after many years he was still not fully accepted as the father and the mother is still holding the position of mother&father. I am sure the writers thought that ending was great....it wasnt.

Overall, this drama is below average for me. I was more interested in the kids and some supporting characters rather than the main leads story, which honestly was meh.

Yeah. I guess they had already planed things in a certain way but then the drama was censored and they were forced to remove any scenes explaining her origins so the drama could air. No idea. I have not finished the drama yet. Read the ending is a joke and dont feel like continuing at least for now.

Eu fiquei com essa impressão depois de assistir o trailer. Como se parte do drama fosse interessante e depois ficasse tudo mais dramático. Eu não suporto quando um drama tem muitos flashbacks e 65 episódios é demais para este tipo de enredo. Acho que vou saltar. Obrigada por ajudar a decidir. ^^

It is because of the bans in China. A lot of dramas had scenes cut that explained the whole thing and became confusing because of that.

You cant make a 1h movie out of this kind of story. There is no time for development. One scene the female lead likes her childhood friend, the next scene she is looking at the moon with the male lead.

Did you watch it? Last time I checked the subs were machine translation.

I tried, but my perfectionist mind cant handle these subs. I guess I will have to give up on this one. :(

Did you add subs after episode 27? I have had this drama on my watchlist for years now and I am trying to decide if I will give it a try or not. I know very little Chinese so if there are episodes that have no subs, I will have to give up on it.
