I stopped believing in these groundless rumors long ago. So, no disappointment. Also, even if this gets released one day, it will be something else, completely different from the original work. Not only this, but Eternal Faith, & Winner Is King too (unless they allow BL stuff or even bromance like TU & WOH). Instead of getting disappointed, Go & read the original novel, if you haven't.
I really loved Gong Jun's performance in WOH and Yang Mi's in TMOPB & TLOF but for this, I'm keeping my expectations low for now (though...hoping to be pleasantly surprised!).

no matter what I can't seem to bring myself to like Jiang Yi. Idk, whether it is a script or the actor, something is missing, or lacking...that makes me want to drop this show (though this is not the sole reason). For the first 10 episodes, it was bearable or okay, but as the episodes progressed further, I quite ddon't seem to understand this guy, his feelings, and his actions toward the female lead. I GOT IT, this is a slow-burn drama, but ML will make it seem like sometimes he is in love with her, and sometimes, there's nothing and just a casual friend.
this is my first time watching Fan Cheng Cheng's work. am I the only one who feels like his acting is quite stiff and needs more effort? He's quite handsome, but honestly, I'm not impressed with his acting skills.
Additionally, the series keeps going back and forth, making it quite confusing at times. Also, how old exactly is Ding Ye? When Ying Zi was 18, she read all of his novels, which were popular at the time. After more than a decade when they met, both look like they are of a similar age. Are you telling me that Ding Ye was so talented that he wrote all his popular books during his teenage years or in his early twenties?
