Zhuge Yue and Yuwen Yue are the same person or is the male protagonist (the original name of the main male protagonist has always been Zhuge Yue, but for some reason, it was changed to Yuwen Yue in PA). Judging from the new teaser released, Rebirth looks more like a sequel than a remake or prequel because it clearly follows the story after the Ice Lake incident which was a cliffhanger in PA. But since people are saying it's a remake or prequel, i'm a bit confused.

Can someone please explain to me why Netflix has 28 episodes but here on MDL they say they are 32?
not sure; the total number of episodes is 32. Maybe if Netflix increased the length of each episode by merging four episodes into it, it might have fewer episodes. On its original platform Youku, each episode is about 45 minutes long.

i have never been this thoroughly impressed or satisfied with any modern idol romance C-drama before, but this one completely exceeded my expectations in every possible way. I am beyond happy that I watched this masterpiece. From start to finish, it was just AMAZING, and the final episodes were even more beautiful and extraordinary which made me more emotional and happier for my Ayan and Yifan. highly recommended. It's 10/10 for me (I rarely give full scores but this one truly deserves it).

i respect your opinion but i disagree. I'm chasing all the popular dramas like The First Frost, The Best Thing…
Yes. when i started watching this drama the first thing i noticed was the "rashomon effect" on how both the ML and FL had different interpretations of the same event from their school days. though I wasn’t aware of its references to a 1934 Chinese film, thank u for mentioning it here.

I've been waiting for Landy's drama for a long time, unfortunately this is a story for teenagers, I feel too old…
i respect your opinion but i disagree. I'm chasing all the popular dramas like The First Frost, The Best Thing airing at the moment and I find this one to be the most relatable as it talks about social acceptance, beauty standards, and the way how we use filters in our real life to edit our pictures on social media to hide our outer appearance insecurities. The only difference is it does it in a very humorous way that keeps us cracking up in every scene. Being myself as an adult, I'm fully enjoying this show. so, I don't think this drama is only for teenagers.

Is it good so far? I want to start it but I'm unsure.
well it really depends on your taste. personally it’s been great so far and it got more interesting after episode 1. It’s a rom-com with a supernatural twist that dives into how much outer appearance matters, how society views and treats it, and the idea of inner beauty.

i want to punch Tang Qi so hard that his nose bleeds. 😤 Such a JERK!

just finished watching the first four episodes and it's really interesting. The comedy parts never fail to crack me up. I wish they had released six episodes instead.

It's been such a long time since I watched a dramatic drama that I'm laughing in the dramatic scenes. Even though…
"what if someone dies and i laugh instead of crying? I'm destroyed.😭" 🙄😂😂😂

not sure about others but I just finished 4 eps in one go, and it's just so good. I did some research on the internet, and it seems like the original manhwa isn't specifically a GL but rather a deep and dark dive into psychological aspects where the fierce competition between the two FL leads is inevitable, and betrayal and manipulation are just part of it. anyway, the chemistry between the two leads is amazing. I'm not sure if they are real sisters in the live-action, but ep 4 somehow suggests they aren't. Also, the child actors playing J, Seulgi, and the long-lost sister are different. just excited to see how this is going to unfold later.

i wonder if the people complaining about the heroine’s looks are direct descendants of heavenly fairies here like unmatched beauties....... really, beauty is subjective but saying things like “her mouth is too big” and “every time she smiles, no one knows how many spiders might have crawled in” is just ridiculous.

also ppl are afraid to criticize the drama here? why be afraid? unless you’re making absurd remarks like the one above. As long as one's criticism is constructive, i believe it should be welcomed without hostility because this platform isn’t just a place for blind praise.

I see that some viewers aren’t enjoying the actress’s bubbly side character and that’s completely fine. there are many instances while chasing shows that i personally find hard to enjoy that others find interesting. what i wanna say is we’re not here just for praise, we can express our different opinions about how we feel about the show, actors performances but there’s a difference between sharing opinions and spewing baseless hate like attacking someone's appearance.

I feel like Cnetz moved on from the Xianxia dramas, the last drama that performed well in terms of stats is TILL…
I don't think its Till The End Of The Moon rather its The Legend of Shen Li which was released last year starring Zhao Liying and Lin Gengxin. Of course, it had a strong fanbase from their previous collaboration Princess Agents, but if we really want to talk about popularity and how well the last xianxia performed, then it must be TLS.

i disagree. this is my first time watching her and I’m absolutely in love with her portrayal. whether it’s…
i've actually seen a lot of criticism when actresses use their cutesy childlike voices with Esther Yu being one prominent example. however it doesn't bother me like it does to others. in fact I find it rather cute and it goes same for the heroine Julia here even though its not her original voice. seems like we've got different tastes here.
