this can't possibly be the korean replica of scarlet heart because they're both set in two different dynasties of two different countries. so along with the language, costumes, blah blah blah, the history changes too.
and moon lovers seems to be a bit more on the lighter side.
i feel like i'm the only one who finds this drama pretty average. since the beginning it didn't interest me much. i'm really tempted to drop w, but i have a habit to finishing a drama once i start it.

marriage of this sort was common place during those times. in fact it's not even a uniquely korean phenomenon, there were so many countries where this practice was seen as normal.

i haven't read the source material, so i have no way of knowing how accurately they portrayed it. the dubbing was horrible, especially the female voices. who decided it was a good idea to make them so fricking shrill anyway!
