What I don't understand is Kang Mok Ju's attitude towards the king. I know she's plotting with Grind Prince Jaesan…
I agree with you about MokJu needing motivation explained. I hope she gets a little arc next week to explain herself. Its probably something twisted because she was abused by her first husband/master or whatever (see ep1), and she regards Prince Jesan as her savior (he is her lover right?)
EP 8 has made up for the last few episodes with a vengeance! Love a good cooking competition! Love a good complicated sageuk plot with enemies on all sides!
Just plain love watching LCM eat!!!!!!! The special effects for tastings for everyone are good. Can we say that they rival the discoball settings for the macaroons?
more stories from the point of view of half the human race? or more stories of revenge against abusive husbands and fathers? It isnt as if stories from the point of view of guys in general or of difficulties with/revenge against abusive/cruel/scary women are/have been rare or are disappearing entirely. No reason why they should. We are just levelling up, friend, just levelling up.
When the food entered those gorgeous lips and after the smile of satisfaction... made me believe awesome lips…
It was supposed to be Park Sung Ho. His Wikipedia picture has him pouting and nibbling (?) his finger, so you are probably right.
Altho usually this sort of desperate last-minute casting involves someone known to an associate in one way or another. Often directors have a little universe of actor from previous projects. that they like to use for different types of characters and feel comfy with .
Lee Chae Min showed quite a bit of magnetism in earlier roles, even in that fluff bag Crushology 101.
Gilgeum is such a wonderfully wild character -- I hope her romance with the Jester is a good one!
It is funny having such a handsome straight Gong-Jil, after the beautiful Lee Joon Gi in The King and the Clown (2005). There had to be a reference to it anyway, same king, after all, but not a same-sex love story. Far from it. Just a teasing underlining of the difference, for the knowing audience?
Id like to see the Joon Gi film, though, cant find it anywhere. Has anyone seen it?
Apart from Jiyeong and the king’s perfect chemistry, I also like the comedic duo of Jiyeong and Gilgeum, they…
Double yes! I put the actress on my to-be-noticed list. Yoon Seo Ah. Same age as Lee Chae Min, 24, year of the Metal Dragon. Very very pretty bio picture.

Otherwise there is some kind of never-ending loop -- she sees the book, goes back, he writes the book, she sees it...
