I didn't watch the trailer until today because everyone was saying it was bromance, but my friend sent me the promo pic and I got a good laugh out of seeing both Title and Papang. They're in everything (I know this is an exaggeration, don't come for me).
Yeah. I guess the one consolation is that I think it's extremely obvious who will end up together in the end. Not just because they've been telegraphing certain endgames from like week two but also because we know most of it is based on real life. So they can't play with those coupes as much.
Fandom is just weird and tetchy about everything and so convinced that they're right and so unwilling to just let other people have opinions.
And frankly I see the mental illness thing go both ways. There's the ones who think that it's as easy as going to therapy and stopping, and then there's the ones who almost romanticize it and the caretaker trope, like all they need is the love of a good person to fix them and also that everything they do is excusable and not their fault because mental illness and addiction. And both sides are so smugly sure that their way is the only way. At some point both sets of people become the same. It makes me feel like doing that Homer Simpson backing into the hedge meme - which I've done, actually.
Yeah. For me it's the show too - I'm tired of the "two seconds of happy followed by hours of drama" BS. And I think we all know it won't be a good ending so for my money it's just...kind of not worth it. Like okay, I LOVE me a good unhappy ending show. Eternal Yesterday is one of my favorite dramas of all time, and I was one of the few who enjoyed Kissable Lips. But this is just...it's constant, nonstop bullshit. There's never a good moment that it doesn't immediately ruin. I guess I wasn't as into it as I thought I would be, it's not my kind of mess in a lot of ways (I just wanted everyone to make out with everyone lol). Good to know that about myself.
But fandom certainly didn't help. It's gotten to the point where I have completely stopped engaging with people about this show outside of MDL. Because little blips notwithstanding, at least here it's not constant fighting and calling each other stupid for not getting the 'obvious" and whining about paired couples and implying or outright stating that people would abuse real life addicts...
Well I'm glad for the spoiler I did get, but yeah it feels very weird. I'm sure they'll release it for real after the show ends - possibly also in English at some point since I know the author also speaks English. Either way I assume it'll pop up.
My problem is I want to know NOW.
So, again. Anyone finds anything out please message me trust me spoilers are not going to wreck my enjoyment of the show if anything they'll increase it because I'm kinda burnt out on the constant drama.
