Aw I thought it was a great first ep. The tone is hitting the right mix of comedy and serious for me so far, I know we're only one ep in but I am really looking forward to the next one.
I just want to say that you're the best. All this info and so much patience for answering the same questions fifty times. <3
I do have a question though - do you know if there is a region map for who can watch this on youtube v. iqiyi or will it just be on both platforms for everyone?
They might have come back! Which is good. But they weren't working when I asked. I got to part 4 and all I had was automatic Thai subs. Not being Thai that did not help me, but I did find it. :D
I knew it, I never trusted Parn lol. Love this for her, hope she gets to really make some mess before her inevitable downfall.
Nathat absolutely killed Thana I think. Plans to frame him for Chat's death which makes me feel like he has a hand in it somehow, but that might be a little too convoluted idk. Either way it might actually make him a little more interesting to me, finally. Lord knows he needs it.
i know joongdunk has a big fanbase already. i just finished watching hidden agenda and the heart killers, not…
Dunk is a weaker actor but he can improve. It's not like you are either born knowing how to act or not and you can never sharpen your skill set, lol. Joong didn't pop into the scene as the best actor in GMM either. Also I would say that part of the problem is GMM pigeonholing their actors into the same roles over and over again with little regard to how well they play them. It's not entirely on Dunk's shoulders here - he's not the best actor by any means but also if he's not a strong actor he can't do much with a crappy script. There are some actors who can elevate material, but he is not one of them. At least not yet.
But I will say that "I have a right to criticize Dunk because I'm Joong's fan" is incredibly silly. You can critique whoever you want, people are free to agree with it, but this sort of justification honestly just got my back up a bit.
Also, you've demonstrated why I kind of hate the cp thing. Fans get attached to one ship and then can't handle it when they split up and then direct their ire at whoever the new partner is. I think that this would be much less of a thing if they had new partners every series, and if they weren't constantly trying to pretend to be irl in love to sell products. It encourages way too much insanity.
I saw a rumor saying we'll see the season 1 cast as guest roles? Is that credible
Well Boston for sure! But I think Ninew said all of them will show up at some point or another. I'm genuinely like noooo because I don't want to see what they do to SandRay but I will never say no to Boston causing chaos.
The trailer did make it look way more interesting than the mock trailer (thank goodness), but I have to admit I'm still mostly here for First in his evil era.
Or if not entirely evil, problematic lol. Either way.
Top and Mew? Well they're based on a rl couple that got married, so...dream on.
Thanks!

Also I keep suspecting Pan. She's so sweet and concerned about everyone that I absolutely think she's evil.
I've ben wanting him to play a truly bad dude for years, this is like a dream come true for me.
