Mirae is definitely a nice name, it means future, miji means unknown which can be a double edged sword, so i think it was just playful of him to comment on the name, and if he did intend to say it to the original mirae, it is not surprising :)

Maybe the next time I'll rewatch this, I might have another perspective and agree with you, but for now, I'll just give him enough credit for addressin her in her correct name and not the recognizing from the start :)
