Omg Yun Ji-won, stop humouring Mun-su so that he can move on! She's being obtusely accommodating with him, it's not cool to Seok ji-won who's very understanding. I Iove that they have a rock solid trust between them though, really nice.
I lurved episode 7, the bickering was toned down (I didn't hate it in the first place but it was becoming too much), and gave way to more mature and heartfelt moments. Everything felt perfectly balanced. I should mention I find Seok jiwon's assistant hilarious and am always looking forward to his scenes lol I love the actor, he's so funny.
Well episode 7 is coming and I think a lot of posters who slammed the FL are going to eat crow. Or most likely…
People are addicted to instant gratification these days imo, if a drama character doesn't immediately grow up and act the way they want them to act, they start calling the character annoying and the drama draggy. I've seen people calling When the Phone Rings draggy lmao. Tiktok brainrot is real.
Yeah, the comment section here is great apart from the fact that I can't click "show spoilers" without fear of…
Same. Clicking the spoiler button has been a gamble for a while, people just cannot help themselves. I wish there was more moderation on Mdl to put a stop to this. I prefer the reddit kdrama sub for this reason.
Guys, a question: I've just started this drama on recommendation and I'm yet to finish the first episode but I have zero idea what's going on with the politics, the names, the power play etc. Does it get clearer later? Do I have to do a rewatch to understand it better?
I like this even though the characters are two-dimensional and most of their actions are ridiculous and unrealistic, yet I find them really funny. It's a light fun show in the tone of early 2000s era rom-coms. There's a miscommunication trope, which I usually hate but in this instance it doesn't frustrate me because the leads (esp the ML) have only eyes for each other.

I feel like this cancellation made the show even more popular than it was, everyone's going crazy with the withdrawal. I fear Tv channels might utilise this trick to create hype in the future lol
The ending was like a fever dream, it felt as if all of it was happening in Jeong Suk's head. Dae Gun and Ju Ri's little drama was meaningless as well, we never got to actually see why his mother changed her mind suddenly. She doesn't even let her son see his grandma, why would she get affected by Ju Ri's plea? It doesn't fit her characterisation at all. They barely scratched the surface on her insecurities regarding her philanderer husband too. So many wasted opportunities in this show.

It could be that she was the one who rescued him or maybe she simply fostered him for a while before handing him to the monastery and dressed him in clothes she made. There were only very few baby things in that box. There's still a possibility that she's not the mum. OR, if she's the mum, she must have secretly given birth very young before her marriage and left him to the nuns.
