The length of the film was excessive
The movie is good in terms of story, acting and direction.. but I felt a little bored as there are scenes that were very long.. Like the movie “Natural Disasters”, it was not as good as I was expecting... but overall it was good, especially the acting, they were all brilliant in their performances... ........... The most beautiful part of the movie was the ending, although I was sad about his death, but the ending was really wonderful and I will always remember it ..............................Was this review helpful to you?

الفيلم بيحكي عن بنت كانت ناجحة بشغلهاو عندها طموحات كبيرة فجأة بتلاقي نفسها حامل .. و هالحمل قلبها حياتها 360 درجة ..الفيلم بيحكي عن كل فترة الحمل و عن كل الاشياء اللي عاشتها خلال فترة حملها ..
حبيت كيف كانت رافضت الفكرة بالاول و كيف بلشت تتعلق فيه كل ما كبر ببطنها
فيلم ريتمه ممكن يعتبره البعض بطيء او ممل لكن هو بالعكس
بنصح كل اللي ما شافه يحضره ............

الفيلم مبني على قصة حقيقية ... تعود لسنة 1971 حادثة اختطاف طائرةالفيلم حرفيا بيحبس الانفاس و انت بتحضر بتحس بضيق نفس و كأنك من ضمن ركاب الطائرة .. الكاست كلهم ابدعوا من دون استثناء ..
تمنيت لو تعمقوا شوية بالظلم اللي تغرض له الخاطف لحتى يقرر يخطف طائرة و يدخل كوريا الشمالية ..
بس الفيلم ككل روعة من احلى افلام 2024 ..

the storyline was perfect
القصص بتجنن و بتلامس القلب .. كان في تفاصيل كتيرة مرت مرور الكرام بس اجمالا الدراما بتجنن و بتستحق المشاهدةقصة توماس حلوة حبيت لو تعمقوا فيها اكثر .. و كمان انه المحقق طلع حفيدها كان هالشي واضح من البداية ........................

As a teacher, this hit incredibly close to home—a cathartic, heavy-hearted masterpiece.
Speaking as an educator, watching Teach You a Lesson was a deeply emotional and layered experience for me. On one hand, it functions as a thrilling, stylized power fantasy, but on the other, the stories it tells are heartbreakingly grounded in reality. There were so many scenes that genuinely made my heart ache because they mirror the silent, real-world struggles we see in our schools every day—the devastating weight of parental pressure, the suffocating atmosphere of the academic pressure cooker, and the absolute vulnerability of kids who feel entirely abandoned by the system.
What I appreciated most about this adaptation is that it doesn’t just demonize teenagers for shock value; it bravely holds up a mirror to the adults. It exposes the systemic failure, administrative cowardice, and parental negligence that actively breed these hostile environments. While the ERPB's vigilante methods are purely fictional, the frustration driving them is entirely real. Seeing Na Hwa-jin and the team step in and aggressively dismantle the corruption that left teachers and good students completely defenseless offered an intense emotional release. It is a brilliant, thought-provoking thriller that perfectly captures how desperately our education systems need genuine protection and reform.

A film based on a true story
For those of you who didn't understand the ending (why the actor looks at the camera and breaks the 4th wall) :First of all this movies is based on a true story. Keep that in mind.
The events in the movie happens in 1986.
The movies came out in 2003.
The killer confessed in 2019
Okay, now that you have some context, here is my interpretation. There is 2 actually.
1. The actor may have looked at the camera after the girls said that the man looked "kind of plain" because well, WE, us, the viewers are normal, plain, ordinary. It means that the murderer may have been anyone. Any korean if i may say so. A normal citizen hiding in plain sight.
2. As I said in 2003, the killer had not confessed to his crimes yet, not until 2019. That is why, thinking that the killer might be watching the movie, the director made the actor look at the camera who may be watching the movie. (If it was the reason, well, it's awesome!).
Anyways, the movies was amazing, great cinematography and as always Bong Joon-Ho did not disappoint.

A sad ending... but

A must-watch for 2026The Chemistry : The "Odd Couple" dynamic between the King and the Warden is the soul of the movie.
The Tone : It starts as a charming slice-of-life dramedy and evolves into a powerful emotional journey.
The Visuals : The cinematography captures the isolation of the exile beautifully, making the setting feel like a character itself.

Tunnel
If you enjoy dark thrillers with emotional depth and a unique twist, Tunnel is definitely worth watching. It’s gripping, heartfelt, and memorable.The ending isn't so much shocking as it is calm and emotional, giving the feeling that everything has fallen back into place, even if it's not perfect. This is what makes it realistic and relatable.

Very inspiring movie
Oh man this movie is so fun and comedic, I wasn't expecting this. I was watching this movie and I was broken and frustrated with life but this is motivating and inspiring in a very good way. You were a wonderful musician that matched the atmosphere. An excellent performance from the young actors and a unique performance from Teacher Park. He didn't laugh a lot, but he could make you smile. He's a really good person. Also, on the other level, he was very proficient, and thanks to him, I loved Korean life and Koreans in particular I advise my friends who have not yet started watching, so I strongly advise you.Was this review helpful to you?

A beautiful story, although it is somewhat ordinary and not new, but the film in general is worth watching, beautiful and entertaining If you want a movie for the evening away from complicated and sad stories, I advise you to watch it I watched it on the last days of the year... and thus the last movie I watched will be in 2023... perfect drama

The Verdict: A Well-Made Masterpiece
Spanning 12 episodes, The Scarecrow stands out by shifting focus away from the typical "whodunit" adrenaline rush, focusing instead on the devastating generational trauma of investigative failure, systemic corruption, and institutional complacency.The Scarecrow is a somber, meticulously paced, and deeply respectful crime thriller. It respects both its audience's intelligence and the real-world tragedies that inspired it. It is not an easy, binge-watch-in-one-sitting thrill ride; it is a heavy, thought-provoking drama that lingers long after the final credits roll.
Director Park Joon-woo and writer Lee Ji-hyun (Taxi Driver) successfully avoided the "final episode curse" that plagues so many K-dramas. By refusing to alter the grim reality of the true historical events to appease the audience, The Scarecrow cemented itself as a masterclass in the crime-thriller genre. It managed to deliver pulse-pounding genre thrills while never losing sight of the real victims still trapped in the echoes of the past.

disappointment
I really wanted to like Still Shining, but it just didn’t work for me. The story feels slow and repetitive, with little real progress in the plot. The emotional scenes seem forced rather than natural, making it hard to truly connect with the characters.While the cinematography is beautiful and the cast did a decent job, the writing is the main issue. The characters lack depth, and their decisions often feel frustrating or unrealistic. I found myself losing interest quickly instead of getting invested.
Overall, Still Shining had potential, but the weak pacing and unconvincing emotions made it disappointing. 5/10
