it's funny how these dramas tryna be a know-it-all and "educational" but in reality u need to switch off your brain to watch this

the acting and cast are really good but the story is boring, it seemed like a lot going on but really nothing was going on

while the director's cut gives more details I think this one is better because it portrays yumi in a darker way.
it was packed with drama for a 6 eps drama and the acting esp suzy's was impressive

I totally agree with you! I'm surprised it wasn't hyped up back then. same for me it's my fav of 2025 so far.I really don't pay attention to who the cast are or the ratings, before I watch a drama, so I definitely not influenced by that. the other dramas Ryeo Un starred in were just that good, that's why he became popular but unfortunately this one wasn't the case. people started to be interested because of Ryeo Un's other roles

like imagine Jiyeong cooking her heart out only for the king to push the meal aside just to romance her while the food is third wheeling on the floor
