I didn't read novel, but as I understand that there not too more romance, and ML understand his feelings only after FL death.. I think major difference will be much more romance, ALP did bad in China and I saw many complain that novel is boring (that's why most of Lusi fans didn't want she took that role, including me) but I will hope for best)) I didn't like first trailer of Lost You Forever, but loved drama later! LLTG also has one silly trailer after which everyone complain drama not that serious as they think.
Anyway it's already filmed, I hope it will air in winter holiday as said🙏
No need panicking because of trailer🤣🤣 post production not finished yet! So it's very raw material, for novel readers not expect it's follow novel, they said at beginning it will be very different.
If you follow this drama from beginning, you will know it will be cheerful story about love and friendship (Lusi said it will be sweet story as HL but with some angst).
I enjoyed the first six episodes. Mainly because when XZ works with other actresses, Idk why he overshadows them…
It's all personal taste, I like some of his partners some don't like that much, but BBH I love her there (didn't watch her previous dramas) and chemistry very good
umm..this is an interesting debate. However, how much of romance feelings she may have for XL is still questionable…

In my opinion if XL wasn't really important to XY, novel author will not put his name in novel name, give him love bug (it wasn't completely planted to CX, only after they moved it to XL that walnut disappeared) and create many other important scenes and hints, it's just more subtle so give more space for interpretation. I not saying XY didn't love TSJ, because I don't think she will kiss him or end up with him if she didn't love him, but my opinion she is really loved XL too.. but I'm actually not YaoLiu shipper 🤣🤣🤣 I don't think they good for each other , I just love characters separately and Tong Hua hater (fir what she did to my favorite boy!!)🤣🤣🤣😈😈

I think indicators that XY likes XL in drama not that direct as in novel (probably because director afraid that FL can get a lot criticism for it, we know in drama people very easy blame FL for like everything, and audience prefer 1 love interest ), so I understand why some people can missed it.
But even in drama - in her magic mirror only XL - love bugs , many very common forgot about it, but it's impossible successfully plant that bugs without mutual love - XY asked her granddad about marriage, and talked both about XL and XY - I will not talk too more about all time she was sad when he go (because this kind can be interpreted differently) - her indirect confession on the beach
I also think producers director of drama gave many hints about their secret mutual love, like they only have duet OST, their bracelet named "secret mutual love, lovesickness" and so on ...
But at the end of the day any book or movie give us viewers to choose what we want to believe ❤️
