Actually almost any problem with drama can be solved , except when it's ML or FL, because even if it's SML for example, his face can be changed with deep fake technology and it's still be okay, but ML and FL is core of the drama

I agree with your point, and also with @Kokuto saying that everyone have many flaws there (I mean even XY one of biggest red flag 🤣) , it's more about what I personally like or don't like about different characters
One thing I don't like about Jing it's his empty promises , starting from beginning
1. He said XY he will take care of XL, she no need to go see him anymore.. but he didn't deal with him and can't? He 1000 weaker, and if for example XL was some psychopath and XY listen Jing, XL become angry and kill her ?
2. When Jing and XY running away from CX, he also said XY he will win her some time fighting with CX, so she can run away. .. but he knocked out 1 min later, and it's XY should back to save him
3. Him promised deal with his fiencee and family for 15 year (we know it will be 100+ years and it's XY who will deal with it)
4. Peach blossom scene, I read all detailed explanation but for me Jing dying from suicide, but not because protecting XY wasn't it (I don't like characters who kill themselves because of love)
5. His unwillingness deal with his brother, which almost cost him and XY life(if not other person saved them)
6. Last one , not least one the very first betrayal, when he promised her protect from CX , but she looked around and he wasn't there... previously I thought he did it because he afraid CX will recognize him, but some episodes later he went to CX house pick up drunk XY.
That kind things not make Jing green flag in my eyes, be kind is good, but for me real kindness it's not just be nice and forgiving, not do bad deeds .. but stand against evil , not close eyes on it

About Jing, I just say she run away from him 😂😂
