It's not about production team, but actors and their company. I wrote previously comments about it, unpopular new actors always try grab opportunity to promote themselves and gain more popularity and recognition, and CP promotion, photoshoots better way for it. Especially after drama very popular. But some actors have very strict policy about CP promotion, for example Zhao Lusi have zero magazine photoshoot with any of her leads, and usually her promotion 1-2 live stream (from different locations with ML). So I feel very happy with SL promotion its a LOT for me 🤣🤣🤣 so many interviews, Livestreams, interactions, ticktocks, photos ))!

Idol drama is drama with young good looking actors as leads and focused on romance. For example some low budget romance drama with newbie non famous actors also called idol dramas .

Also as Amy said, it's doesn't mean any bad, and it has nothing to do with traffic or acting skills.

New or not famous actors make a lot CP promotions because they need gain more attention to get more popularity and more roles. But establish actors try avoid it or make less, because its create really obsessive CP fans and they also need slowly change attention to their new projects.

The more popular actors become the less CP promotion we can get..
