Story of Ming Lan was so good!! I haven’t watch The Rise of Ning. Is it good? Good ending?

Of course you can reply. As you can see, quite a few people have been saying that Ren Min grew on them. Same for me. I’m just saying everyone has their own opinion. I still don’t think she has a main character look, whether you agree or not. It’s not confusing at all to say an actress might not be conventionally pretty but is still good at acting. Why not? There are plenty of pretty actresses whose acting isn’t great, so I’m not sure what’s so confusing, lol. Anyway, like I said, the storyline is interesting and I’ll definitely finish it regardless of my opinion on Ren Min, unless the whole plot completely falls apart, which I doubt. It actually reminds me of The Story of Ming Lan. Anyway, happy watching!

You guys need to chill. What I mean by not main character look is not about white wash or skinny. I like plenty of actresses who are not conventionally China beauty standard. Anyway, I am currently at episode 12 now and getting used to her. Just needed some time. I look forward to her other dramas which I’ve missed. Everyone has their own opinion. Yikes.

I am watching episode 4 now. Interesting. I am not a fan of FL/Ren Min at all. She just doesn’t have the “main character” face to me. Sorry but at least her acting is fine. The guys are all good looking. Am here for the plot. Good plot. Can’t wait to catch up further. Who knows maybe I will get used to Ren Min after watching this drama.

Hows the drama so far? I am trying to watch episode 1. I tried many times to watch Ren Min’s drama but I just can’t. People said she looked like Wong Cho Lam, I really can’t unsee after that.

I knew it! She will choose this path at the end. Kinda typical in dramas. My partner said Miyu will become the principal of that Uni. 🤣 Jokes aside, if me, I will choose to gain experience through jobs. Nowadays masters and certs are not as valuable as last time unless you are going for something very technical. Anyway, nice drama! I enjoyed it! Recommended! Good ending. ❤️ (I am not satisfied with the ending for her evil step-sis. Not fair!) 😒

I don’t care about the ratings. As long I enjoyed it. There are many drama with high ratings and totally sux for me. So, all up to your choice and likes. Ignore the ratings. 😉

I was about to type this! Very frustrating! Also didn’t he already go through so many ghosts? Shouldn’t he know by now that they all come to him for a reason? Like unfinished business. This episode slightly doesn’t make sense. Anyway, ep 15 and 16 going to be hella emotional. I am sure there will be a very emotional goodbye at the end. Can’t wait for next week! 😭

First six episode was good. Especially episode 5 was so funny, the first few mins! I laughed so hard! After that, it became kinda boring, I don’t know why. I fast forwarded after episode 8 all the way to last episode. Good start but somehow lack of something. Not my favourite so far.

Better than I expected! Now I can’t wait for episode 18. No boring episodes for me. Nice watch!

I will give Prince Lan Ling a try! 🤩 Enjoy watching Story of Ming Lan! It is truly good! Just that it has a slow pick up but after that it becomes so good!

Just finished the drama. I kinda like it. I love they included romance. Seems mature and not over the top. This is my first time seeing ML in romance drama. Am surprised how natural he seems. Love his looks too. Not the typical pretty boy but kinda rugged. FL is 40 already? She looks like 30 ish only. I got shocked. I do wish she put on a little bit of weight tho. She still look very pretty when she smiles. Overall, a nice watch. For me, much better compare to “In Your Radiant Season”. This drama rating should be higher. At least 8+. I am glad I give it a try! Recommended! Hope to see ML in more romance drama! 😍
