First few episodes were great and then slowly went down the hill and straight fell off the cliff. 😅 Would have given 7/10 but 8/10 for Eun Bin! Looking forward to her next project! 🥰
These last two episodes are genuinely better rom-coms than whatever I have seen this year.
People are complaining about the lil’ romance but I feel this story is much needed to understand their backstory. I think we can look forward to some actions and 💥 next week! 🥰
Finally I can stop seeing people commenting about FL’s hubby knowing that she is the Kingfisher. He actually thought Kingfisher is a guy and was threaten to keep it a secret or his family will be killed. That is why he had that look with FL because he was concern about her safety.
Also, Seulgi is actually a very nice guy (if they follow the Webtoon). He is the one replaced FL’s role when she was away for maternity for 3 years. I assume the one who shot the father in front of the 7 year old kid (mentioned in ep 8) was Seulgi. He done that when he was taking over FL’s job temporary.
So, please don’t let the preview fool you guys again. I am sure it was a friendly fight scene between them. 😬
I mean…in K-drama land, once FL starts calling a guy “oppa”, high chances they won’t end up together. 😅 Webtoon aside, this is already a big clue who she will end up with. 😊
I really wanted to like this drama. I really do! Love the actress but this might be one of her worst drama I’ve seen. Ngl, one of the worst ending. It stop so abruptly. Also, MangoTV sub sucks to max.
Rubbish Betrothal, not Royal! 😤😒 They really should have follow the novel ending! Would have rated lower but 7/10 for the sake of their hard work.
I hope to see some improvement on the last two episodes. I almost fell asleep and my eyes keep closing. It would have been more fun if ML could continue seeing 👻. Kinda draggy now. Mostly about stocks and the bland villain guy screen time is quite a lot. I have enough for today. So sleepy after watching. 🥱 I think this drama should have been 8 or 10 episodes. 😅
In the webtoon does the hacker guy has feelings for FL ? does he confess or any misunderstanding happens between…
Erm, I don’t feel what you are feeling. Are we watching same drama? I don’t see any intervention on her married life. Are you saying about the first two episode about the new girl who join and tried to “poison” her hubby? That case already solved. From what I see, they respect her privacy. To be honest, the drama did not trigger me at all. I don’t see it that way. Also, it is facts that the wife is stronger than hubby. Nobody see him as dumb. He is doing his reporter job. So far I am liking the storyline and hope she will continue balancing this job and her family life. Perhaps this drama is not for you. You may consider dropping it. 😊

I get what you mean but I think it is quite subtle. I’ve seen worst in other drama. Perhaps he does have a one sided affectionate for FL but FL only loves her family. Personally, I really like her dynamic with her colleagues. The show will be about her and her bonding with her surrounding people and dealing with bad guys. 😊

As what I know from the Webtoon reader, it’s more about family bond and friendship among the colleagues (supporting each other). Besides that, dealing with the bad guy cases. Don’t think they will concentrate on love triangle, etc. Hopefully the drama would not include this kinda trope. 🙏
oh ok but it seemed like he did notice her going into the building when he was being restrained right?
I don’t know. Sometimes drama likes to keep us in suspense. I doubt he recognise. Even the previous text message and his “suspicious” look was not about his wife but the text message he received from another person. I have put a spoiler below your comment. Perhaps it will make you understand more why he had that look. He is more worried about the safety of his family.
Got this from a Webtoon reader. Major spoiler ahead! 🚨Not sure if the drama will follow but read if you are…
Apparently, the person who sent Bo Na a gift from Russia is Seulgi. He has a Russian name too. He’s Bo Na’s friend and kind of like a brother to her.
Tae Seong actually met Seulgi before, when he was working as a reporter on the Kingfisher case. Seulgi is a mercenary who sometimes works with Bo Na’s team.
At the time, Bo Na was pregnant, so her work partner suggested hiring a mercenary to cover for her. They hired Seulgi, and Tae Seong ended up witnessing Seulgi kill someone. He misunderstood the situation and thought Seulgi was Kingfisher.
Seulgi then basically “kidnapped” Tae Seong and told him to forget everything he saw, otherwise he’d kill Bo Na and the rest of his family. Yul hadn’t been born yet and Bo Na had only just found out she was pregnant that time. (This explain the unknown text message he received about keeping his promise.)
So Tae Seong dropped the Kingfisher case to protect his family.
The funny/interesting part is that Seulgi later visits Bo Na and her family, but Tae Seong doesn’t recognize him. Seulgi becomes friends with the family and often hangs out at Tae Seong’s mom’s chicken shop.
And apparently… Seulgi is actually a really nice guy. 😭

Things are getting messier and messier each episode. 😱 Each individual have their own set of problem. I am very curious how the story will unfold further and wrap up. So many plot twist. Only 1 episode per week? Oh no!
Would have given 7/10 but 8/10 for Eun Bin!
Looking forward to her next project! 🥰
Highlight: BBQ scene! 🤣
Worst: Truck-kun (really unnecessary) 🙄

ASFK 1 & 2 - 😐😒😠 (emo/gloomy)
My Bias, My Boss - 😀😃😆😄😁 (non-stop smiling ear to ear)
No in between. Nope.
Also, there’s no betrayal within Bo Na’s team, in case anyone is wondering whether there’s a mole, secret spy, etc.
