It's because the marriage is temporary. She is willing to do anything to secure a title. It's interesting though…
Even then. She would stay married for a little while, before divorcing. So she would have to transfer the business "temporarily" to someone? How would that work and how would that someone give it back to her? Or maybe she can still be the owner but without running it (for that period)?

In S Korea the legal car seat requirement only applies to children 6 years old or younger. The young king is 8…
Okay, but even without a special seat, you'd put the child in the back. The place near the driver is considered the most dangerous. And the whole idea... I get why they did it, plotwise, but it's a bit stretched. When the Prince told her to not even give him ramen because of the remote possibility of having an indigestion and she would get blamed, how could she be so careless as accepting a car ride, alone with the child?

Agreed. But its a sports car- only 2 seats were there. No back seat.
One more reason why it was a bad idea to begin with.

Yes to all of it but sports car don't usually have back seat.
I agree. That's why no one puts a child in a sports car.

So here is what i dont understand. The korean monarchy in this is a constitutional monarchy, which would make…
The royals are not shown to have decisional power. As it was clearly stated, they have to avoid taking sides in politics and even in sports, they are to remain neutral in everything. The "work" is mostly social appearances and charity - just as the European royals of today. The difference is not in royals but in the nobility - the influential families coming from the Joseon yangban - having taken all the strategic posts in public life. Which seems to be true in Korea even in real life, even without the need for monarchy.

Subway sandwiches are back, baby! I mean, they're not even subtle. WTF?
It's an expensive production, Subway and Copico must have given loads of money.

Can you judge it completely till it is finished. Maybe the ending will surprise us by subverting the cliches,…
That's why the OP said "judge it COMPLETELY".
That said, I think that 4 episodes are enough to set the tone. How much can it improve? It can, but I don't think that it will become something different.

ML losing the chess match was interesting, usually in shows like this they try to show ML as a natural genius…
There is a saying in my country "He who loses in card games wins in love".

Kids that age have to go on a back seat, not the one near the driver, and on a special child seat. And some other person should have been at his side. So a sports car is a no-no.
The whole thing was a bad idea and, tantrum or not, shouldn't have happened, regardless of the tampered brakes.

They had the money to decorate their office? How? All this time I have been crying about how is he making money…
Well "decorate" is a big word. They added a library and a second desk that seemed Ikea stuff and didn't go at all with the rest of the decor.

He allowed it because he has feelings for FL and wanted her to be happy and get her wish and get closure.
You're welcome to have your opinion about such behaviour (it does seem to work a lot of the times), but my point was that we see it done by both men and women.

I don't see anything forced. If anything, it's going very slowly and developing in a very natural way because…
Surely. That's why you freely expressed your opinion and I freely expressed mine. And it's fine.

Men and women, when they like someone and they want to seduce someone, will try to look good in their eyes and go to great lengths for that, won't they? This is universal.

Although I diligently watched all the episodes till now, there's something that I must have missed. Why getting divorced is part of the plan?

Doormat? That's how he will get the woman he likes. By gaining brownie points, he has drawn her towards him. Smart move, if you ask me

Many plots and subplots are not "necessary" but still they're nice to have, or at the very least they don't bother me.
