I started this last week where I just saw this rated as 8.6 and now it's 8.9 like damnnnnnn.. HONESTLY, DESERVING of the ratings!

all those episodes ever since they 1st met, leading to this one episode where every bit of womanhood in me exploded. LMAO .. I REALLY LIKE HOW THEY FLIRT WITH EACH OTHER. 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️.. even before they became official, they act like they're a couple. 😩😩💚💚💚💚💚

I really found this GEM. and the good thing is, IT'S ALREADY DONE AIRING so I can watch this continuously... I'm at EP19 now and loving every bit of it.

I just stumbled upon this drama because I wanted to kill off some time before I get back to work later and now I've watched the 1st 2 EPs and made me bawl. 😭😭😭 it somehow made me realize (as a city girl), why was I even rushing. why am I making my job a priority to the point that it gets overwhelming? made me really think... what if that happened to me? what would make my life good? how am I supposed to be living this?

It gotten to a point where the 1st episode just really opened my eyes to what I've been doing to myself as well.. I can't wait to finish this one and I'm hoping I actually would finish this considering I can't watch CDRAMAS longer than 24 episodes (ADHD 💁)

am I the only one embarrassed with the fact that he saw her... uhmmm.. well, should be fine supposedly since he's a doctor.. but after such turn of events in EP1, I can't even probably live at the same house as him. 😂😂😂 I'd be too embarrassed

GYJ was the original naksu though? It would've been awkward if GYJ was the original naksu then JSM was Mudeok (Jin Bu yeon's body + naksu soul) and then another actress plays as new JBY on the 2nd part. We sort of seen who she could've become without her TRAUMA.

I guess I haven't rated everything I've watched. I'm a little new to MDL (only started last year) so all of those years with dramas I've watched, I couldn't recall and rate them. 😅 I've watched reply series (I really am not a fan of this series. like at all maybe because old times aren't my type.. I gave it a few watch like episodes and dropped it. even with the family and life themes) and PRISON PLAYBOOK has been literally one of the best that I've watched. Though I really think the romance was really unnecessary..

guess I could say we have the same taste. 😂😂 I've watched all of these except Little Women.. I keep seeing bad reviews about the drama so I was hesitant. I'll watch that now. thanks!!!

can u drop a few titles from older ones? like even from around 2016s til maybe 2021. just wanted to cross check as well to see if I may have watched some

I tried it but it's just really not my type.. so I dropped it. :( I'm trying to see older dramas that I can check since it does kind of feel like 2022 dramas in general were lacking for me. only a few ones were good (including AOS)

the thing with Jang Uk is, he never entertained anyone before JBY came into his life (though yup, that's naksu). As we all saw, his relationship with his master in season 1 was built in the fact that both of them needed each other so they sympathise with each other's situations. The first time he saw JBY and how she told him about she was guilty of not being alive in the first place, I would assume somewhere in his heart, he felt the connection. because he knows himself we wasn't supposed to live..

though everyone sees it as someone who has completely moved on (from his former lover), I see it as having someone to share the pain he feels again which again, wouldn't even happen if his heart doesn't know.. For sure our minds can trick us in all sorts of ways if ever this has happened to us but this so-called SOULMATE thing (especially this being called ALCHEMY OF SOULS) just really puts them perfectly together.

Point number 2, YES! Maybe because since S1 we've been hearing her (GYJ) too much in the thoughts of Mudeok (JSM) that's why it was easier for me (at least to most of the viewers who continued watching to part 2) to really acknowledge everything about her. And that's really her charm. She made it work and made her scenes painful sometimes to watch with all those emotional stuff.

Right? I will have to rewatch season 1 and identify the filler scenes. I'm sure it could create whole 5 episodes. HAHAHAHA...

If you didn't hate it, you don't have to. 😂😂😂 I am not sure about your tastes in dramas but as someone who has been an avid fan of fantasy genres, this was a top tier release.

and if I may add,

JIN SEOL RAN is still such a gray character.. The writers made it feel like we should HATE her.. She's using this and that.. or planning to do this and do that which makes it understandable for the audience to somehow show dislike in her (LET'S PLEASE SEPERATE THE ACTRESSES AND THE CHARACTERS okay?? so clarifying i dont hate JSM.. I love her to death).. Since she wasn't a clear character from the beginning. And if we noticed in season 1, She acts too cold and cocky sometimes when she meets naksu. If she chose Naksu ever since the beginning, she shouldn't be acting all high right? (even if she is indeed powerful) LMAO.

Anyway, JSM is such a slayyingg actress as JIN BU YEON/JIN SEOL RAN

And I am sooooo looking forward to seeing more from Go Youn Jung! I was never invested to a drama until this series came. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE'S PROJECTS SOON.

EXACTLY! LMAO... He looked amazing when he was a prince and even more so as the KING.. Glad he didnt had those prop crowns like the one from the old king and his father.
