I think that "She doesn't remember" might be referring to the time capsule and how she asked him to meet on the…
I feel like every scene is shot and edited very carefully and that makes me excited because the writing seems very sure of where it’s going, I’m like you I have a few ideas but mostly am excited to see where it all goes
Why HASN'T Im Sol broken up with Tae Sung by Episode 5? 🤔Also, did it look like Im Sol's forehead was pink/red,…
I think cause her teen self likes him and she doesn’t feel like she has the right. It’s confusing for her cause she doesn’t know when she’ll transport to the future
Ok also WHO DID MR JINGLE JANGLES KILL?? I kinda forgot w all the cute stuff but I’m so worried he killed future Im Sol or something crazy like that—anything is possible in a time slip drama!!
OK my theory is that SJ also transported back and that’s why he fell off the balcony in the present—he didn’t try to kill himself and has no idea future him is dead, he came back to save Im Sol from getting paralyzed. He gets extra sad every time she talks about not walking and ran in front of her so she wouldn’t walk into the street, also there is something wonky going on w the timeline cause Im Sol had the bruise/mark on her head again suddenly in the last scene when he confessed. I don’t think SJ went back as far as her I think he transported back to right before saving her from the bridge at the end of last episode. That’s also why he wasn’t as sad about not swimming cause it’s been a long time and he looked more nostalgic about it than anything.
I think he’s also legitimately considering not becoming a singer bc of how his life turned out. And now he sees an opportunity to be with Im Sol so has decided to take it.
To the ones bashing the director, tell me: whats have you all done ro help YAI's career? Did you risk to lose…
We don't have the power the director does. So that's not a parallel you can draw, sorry. We're just like you, coming onto comment sections and popping off, unable to actually do or change anything. Meanwhile people who do have the power to make a difference are too scared to risk their own careers. Who knows how you or I would act in a similar situation, true, but we aren't in that position, and everyone involved that is in a position to stand up to injustice like this carries part of the blame.
Maybe you missed the most important aspect of the whole scene, the religious? As a christian, suicide is the biggest…
Catholicism is not like post great awakening christian religions where god can see your heart, it is very tied to ritual and semantics. They baptize babies right after birth cause of this. It doesn't matter that the baby is innocent--you want heaven, you must get baptized--no baptism cause you died hours after birth? Hell for you. You died in the confession chamber seconds before getting absolution even tho you had every intent to confess? Hell for you. So this actually makes PERFECT sense according to catholic theological logic. I'd suggest doing some research on the religion if you want to understand better.
They should've chosen a more charismatic actor to play the Anjin. It's such an important character but I feel…
Really? He's so bold and unrelenting, though. I find his character really interesting and important in providing a contrast to the culture and beliefs of the Japanese. And I love that he's just a normal dude, I find that way more realistic and interesting--he is completely out of his element, and was just your average ship captain not some famed or noble fighter or something--and in Japan has no power and doesn't speak the language or even know how to fight in their way, why would it make sense for him to outshine characters like Toranaga and Mariko and some of the others? IDK I find him just as compelling as other characters in his own way. He's a good actor, if you've seen him in other things, and it would make a lot more sense for him to grow into more of a hero character in coming seasons
Am I the only one that thinks ep.9 was amazing and that ending was perfectly fit?! 😅 with so much substance…
I was weirdly disappointed when she didn't end up dying in the seppuku, even though I didn't want her to die, cause it has been such a beautiful episode and lead up to her death, I thought it would have been more moving for her to die. And then when she died at the door I was upset again cause they made us think she would live. This is me saying I agree lol
I did not expect to love this drama this much, turned it on randomly cause I love the FL actress, but each ep I get exponentially more and more invested-- why did I choose an airing drama to start, the wait is TORTURE.
This is one of my favorite writers, and I love bromance. My first thought is that this is gonna be awesome, but then I saw it's loosely based on BTS storylines.
I'm worried the BTS connection is gonna overshadow the story, writer, actors, everything, there will be no respect for the show itself. I just wanna watch a good drama, I don't really care about the group or how it relates to that.
Sorry I just can't stand unattractive male leads on my screen so I am gonna skip this one plus Disney sucks so…
Thank you. It's not as fun to have superior taste in dramas when everyone else does too, gotta have you bottom feeders to make the rest of us look good
I’m not worried at all that this age gap romance will have no chemistry .. because this is by director Ahn Pan…
Him casting Yoo Ah In for SLA was so brilliant. I can't think of any other actor his age who could have pulled that off in the same way. PD Ahn knows talent when he sees it.
I came down to the comments just to post about how after looking at the promo pics I have no doubt the leads will make us yearn with the chemistry. Wi Ha Joon has a very strong vibe to him, like a piillar. And Ryeo Won has a very free spirited feel to her characters, so I think they will match well and the age gap won't matter.
Not gonna lie, I dropped this numerous times, but kept trying to watch it because everyone kept raving about it…
I am in the same boat! I keep starting the first ep and then not finishing, and then coming back and trying again. I may be doomed tho cause I can't go 10 eps with nothing.
I think he’s also legitimately considering not becoming a singer bc of how his life turned out. And now he sees an opportunity to be with Im Sol so has decided to take it.
