Why does TSJ say he isn't as good a match for Xiaoyao as Fanfeng Bei? Is the Fangfeng family more distinguished than the Tushan? I always wondered why he didn't appeal to his grandmother's pride at having the best by talking her into considering a princess instead of a noble woman? Isn't he supposed to be a clever fox?

It would be a sad day indeed if he ever stopped acting. I was a fan since I first saw him in Miss the Dragon. He was phenomenal in it. So dreamy and talented. He has released three dramas this year alone and deserves a break for that hard work. The haters can suck it.

I really love this drama as much as Till the End of the Moon. It is so beautiful to watch with the costumes and set design. I love the story. I am excited to read the novel translation.

You bring up a good point and possibly the reason the entertainment companies go to such lengths to deny the rumors. The fans are rabidly angry and territorial when it comes to their idols dating. It's almost as if they have the power to deny them a personal life. They don't owe us a thing except for a good performance.

Neither. This is a straight up drama which deals more with palace intrigue rather than epic battles or lighthearted comedy.

Yes, if you like palace intrigue. It has a very slow burn plot and there is a lot to keep track of, but it's very interesting.

She is so cute! I have loved her since I Hear You. I have also seen her in The Long Ballad, Please Feel at Ease, Mr Ling, and Love Like the Galaxy.

Thank you for this. I always wondered why voice dubbing was so appealing in C-dramas. As an actor, we are taught that our voices are part of our instrument and must be cultivated for any part we have to portray. I thought it unfortunate that this was being taken away from the actors here, as it took away the opportunity to complete the character. It does make a strong case, however, that dubbing fits to alleviate issues with slang and a character's personality. A great example was Ye Hua's voice TLTWTMPB. It was deep and resonant--perfect for the character. Yet, when I heard Mark Chao's true voice in the BTS, his was a youthful, tenor sound, and not suitable for Ye Hua. I do maintain , however, that it is important for actors to be given the opportunity to voice their characters in his/her true voice. It's part of the craft of acting and brings the character to life. This is why I am glad Luo Yunxi does his own dubbing. He has a distinct tenor that I find appealing, and I recognize the sound of his voice as much as his face.

Where are you watching? Viki is only on episode 29 subtitled and it's killing me! I know they are working hard, but you're much further ahead.
