Its just 12. The manga has a continuation but I guess they didnāt want to make the ML look that much older because its hard so they just left it with them hinting at his future relationship with the daughter.
I mean, I am glad that at least we didnāt see him dating the 16 year old daughter, but somehow they made it even more disgusting by hinting at it at the end with the kid version of her. They hinted at her being obsessed with him like his father is with her mom. They couldāve just removed this whole storyline š did you have to make him even more trash?
