the synopsis gives me the movie " New World " vibes so I hope its more like it since it made why more sense for an undercover scenario and everyone was dirty even the cops and even the ML chose to just stay a criminal in the organization at the end

well again you are in the wrong kdrama then if you are not plainly against thrillers... because I read the webtoon and its a normal korean dark thriller with nothing western about it.

there are still a lot and actually way more romcom kdramas... what is even wrong with doing dark thrillers lmao its not like the thriller genre belongs to the west. Just because you don't like thriller doesn't mean every korean tv show ever should avoid it... there A LOT of old iconic korean dark thriller movies.

not everything needs to be an old kdrama classic romcom... they can have thrillers too that don't feel like they were made in the previous century. you are the weird one to forcing a whole country's tv shows to one genre you like. what does family and classic romcom even has to do with this?

well this is adapted from the webtoon and it does talk a lot about the effed up korean law system and the webtoon creator is free to write and draw about whatever he wants... Disney DID NOT create this story

the first like 4 chapters are available translated and it honestly looks dark so I hope they give it the same vibes. I wish it had more tho T_T

I mean he does seem to believe that the ML is the murderer of the ex so at the very least he is not involved in that. there is a huge possibility that he doesn't really care about the ML though and is just using him to grow his company and could betray ML if it meant that his company can survive.

Kwon was definitely trying to protect and cover for whoever he thinks is the dog mask ( most probably the kid in the drawing) by turning her attention to Moo Chan.
Also I am starting to think that the teacher might have a different role? he is so suspicious but in a different way?? he gives me evil vibes but not exactly vigilante vibes although he could be an accomplice ( maybe giving money to the actual dog mask to sponsor it? )

nah my expectations was subverted and a few episodes later we found out that his boss was framed and the video that the mc used as evidence was fake but well they do kill off the boss at the end of that episode….

yeah true T_T I really wish they don't change much about the characters and anything really since I liked their dynamic and the vibes. Also they didn't mention the screenwriter yet right? at least its not on mdl so I hope its the original creator

i mean I personally remember me knowing immediately that he is fellow a serial killer but sure.... also I doubt that they would change something so basic like literally who a character is. they would've just made a new character if that is the case so yeah he is definitely still a killer. I will put it under spoiler just incase but yeah. A real spoiler would be that the cop who follows the MC around is not that clean and is kinda just as bad. anyway I hope they don't change much because I love the webtoon

i mean he is not necessarily a son maybe just a very close friend to the daughter or something similar.

he probably just feels guilty and that he caused her death indirectly by breaking up with her. this will probably tell the FL that her ability is not the perfect telltale of guilt since it also depend on how the person perceive the situation and what they believe
