I know I’m still behind - because I don’t want to pay for premium iQIYI - so I’m only on episode 8, but this is so so good. I have to admit I wasn’t the biggest fan for the first few episodes but that completely changed after episode 3 or 4! I do think binging it is the best way to watch it.

I’m genuinely so obsessed with this! it is sooo addictive. I want to binge the rest now! so many undexpected twists this episode. I don’t think anyone could’ve guessed the reveal at the end of the episode though!!!

It is kind of crazy to me that some of the biggest current male leads from China were in all these unreleased danmei adaptations before they were so widely beloved. But their fame probably makes it even less likely these will ever see the light of day.

this being 5 episodes and Gemini and Fourth saying they won’t have a series in 2026 (it’s assumed that’s because they will be in the Love in Siam stage play) makes it’s tough being a fan of them. They’re so busy doing concerts, fan meets and now a play - international fans (out side of their fanmeet countries) are only getting 5 episodes over about 3 years - Nothing in the second half of 2024, nothing in 2025, 5 episodes in 2026 and if nothings announced in the 2026 lineup that’s nothing for the first half of 2027. I love them but it’s hard! At least we have their solo projects.

so this is Hannah Montana… if she was a punk model instead of a singer. I’m OBSESSED!

Was not expecting we’d actually be getting the scenes we got in episode 7. I thought we’d maybe get a confession in the last minute of the final episode. I am glad we got to see some happy moments mixed in with all the corruption, backstabbing and misery in the penultimate episode.

In “Why R U?” we loved Perth - she was the sister and creator!
In “Love Mechanics” Perth was pretty much universally disliked by everyone as Yins girlfriend (viewers only disliked Yins character more).
So l truly do wonder what our feelings for Pin will be at the very end of the drama. At this point the writers could still take her character either way.

this has just a different style to other GMMTV series and I think a lot of that is down tothe editing - it is so cool! One of the editors also did khemjira!

this is actually quite unique which I really like. It is a typical story we’ve seen so many times before - but it’s being told in a very funny and stylistically different way that I’m having such a good time with it - the humour is almost more similar to some comedic Japanese series I’ve seen which I love.
And I’ve just watched 2 of the most depressing (but incredible) dramas so I needed something that would make me laugh instead of cry - and this is perfect!

I forgot this was a GMMTV drama for a minute and was so surprised when JJ turned up… then I remembered.

I think everyone saw Phus arch coming - I think I’m the only viewer actually surprised by the route this has taken - I thought there was going to be betrayals, but this goes beyond that. excited for Prem - going off of next weeks trailer this is truly unlike any role we’ve seen from him before.

this is has given me SUCH a bad drama hangover. So sad it’s over and how am I meant to find a drama this good again! I miss HaiTang and YiXun!

I’m so so happy I saved this for after Twelve Letters I want to see Yi Ran in a role where he can be cute and in love and not suffering alone - I love that drama - but feel I need this one to heal me.

One thing I’m dying to know if anyone knows is… we have letter boxes:
#2 - In 1991
#3 - In 2026
#4 - In the very last scene
I wonder where letterbox #1 was? Any theories?

And spoiler feelings: I am still sad about Brother Cha - I know his story was an example of what Tang and Xun could’ve become. And he got his dream of living on a boat, but alone forever. But then I did love Zhang Guans arch! Did not see that coming. I liked that they gave the more sidelined or “comic relief” characters all their moment to save the day at the very end. And overall I’m just so happy the soulmates get to spend a long and happy life together!

WOAH! this is one of my top 5 dramas of all time… maybe even 3! I wish we had an extra 15mins at the end to see where all the characters are, but I guess we have seen all of their futures… throughout the drama. Crazy that there’s no kiss or suggestion of anything of the sort, but it’s got to be one of my favourite on-screen romances.
I also love that this could be a drama without the fantasy element - it would just be one of the most soul crushing stories ever, but the letterboxes add just enough wimsy magic and mystery sprinkled throughout that the misery is more bareable.

I do also have a question below - but it’s spoiler-ish.

yes, what they say about episode 8 is true. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so hard non-stop throughout an entire episode. All the emotions are just so real and so painful. What really got me was how nostalgic a certain part of the episode was - it felt like mourning for your youth, everything changes, people move on, places are torn down and rebuilt - so you can’t go back to your youth, you can just hold on to the memories of it. All of this to say - it’s 2am I should be doing to sleep but I’m going on to episode 9 instead.

I’m gonna be honest, I liked the first couple of episodes but I don’t think I completely got the hype - but slowly as each episode went by my love and obsession for this series grew and now here I am a mess after crying for pretty much an hour straight! This series is phenomenal!

this had such a strong start and the last episode was perfect. Atoms conversation with his mum made me tear up. And there were so many ridiculously cute moments through out. I think the negativity around this comes from expectations being too high. Adapting one of the most beloved bl jdramas, with at the time one of the most beloved bl pairings at GMMTV - so when it wasn’t quite at the expected standard people were let down - but ignoring those factors this is a good, fluffy, cute bl. I’m glad I gave it a go!

I’ve always been looking for a drama that captures a little of the magic, pain, love and heartbreak of “Someday or One Day” (one of my favourite dramas of all time) and this is the first series that feels like that. I’m only halfway through this and feel like I may end up crying even more for this series and I cried buckets in the second half of SDOOD!

I love this series! but I’m sad they decided to do a time jump - I get that nothing in the plot has really changed, but I feel like our 2 leads have - I really wish we could’ve had just half an episode to show what happened over that year - but I understand that this does have a limited number of episodes to tell quite a big story.
And the bit with Jump broke my heart. I just want them all to leave politics, go back to the village and be happy.
