not gonna lie... the ML's move in ep 29 really really pissed me off. Seems he didn't learn his lesson and is way more arrogant/selfish than we originally thought. -_- no amount of "cute" background music or ML's dimples or FL's original intention changing can cover up the fact

every time FL's dad comes on the screen I want to THROAT PUNCH him. The end. >_<

just like that... episode 25 & 26 made me forget 23 &24 were such a mess and put us right back on track, thank goodness! SO many great scenes!!

I'm guessing he thought as a royal relative he had a slim chance to stay alive... but he never gave a thought to the females in his family and what it might mean to them to surrender. What was heart breaking was the reality of them taking all the males out and pulling along tiny little boys towards execution. And the women towards being playthings for men. :(

at least the elders in the family... the younger generation seems very promising at least <33

I'm about to binge 1-24 just to see if ep 23 & 24 were as jarring/different from the rest of the drama as I felt they were or not. Wheeeee

I'm old and my brain feels broken half the time but when the pacing is so fast sometimes I get characters and plot points tangled lol

& I do respect and like the opera... just not as a plot device in this particular instance :)

oh I love opera in dramas too ^_^ just not how it's being used in this particular drama. <3

I kind of love that the 2ML didn't downplay the importance of the token the ML gave to FL in ep 14!

just seems so random & out of place in the drama up to this point. They could have shown her getting close to the scholar in SO many ways but by singing? Even if the FL is more happy etc now that she's free from constantly worrying about dying as a slave, we never once saw her personality as one that would sing opera with a man every day? I know probably a year has probably passed by ep 22? but still... it's jarring for me who is invested in her character/character growth and changes.

too obvious a plot device used to show the FL "closer" to another male and to make the ML jealous/to do something about it quicker. How many times has the ML "happened" upon the FL singing merrily with the scholar? -_- UGHHHHH
