If you have not watched historicals for a while - you'd be confused on these relationships.

Xiuwan is Jin Qi's cousin not his sister
She is his 1st cousin from the 2nd family or household
Jin Qi is from the 1st household

Poor Xiuwan.

That makes it more traumatic.

I would prefer the servants saving each other to add to the side story before ML starts saving FL. FOR ME - if its all about the leads saving each other it will feel repetitive too soon.

Inquisitive people. People who like to learn and discover. People who will pause and search a word. People that respect and try to understand the culture. People who don't need a lot of drama trauma on screen to appreciate the series.

So to you anything not animated is boring? To me both leads are far from boring. They may not be loud and obnoxious but not boring. They are building a story of 2 respectable characters.
