At first i thought the drama would be great as eternal love and ashes of love. But not good as expected . Im not…
The chemistry between the leads in The Eternal Love 1 & 2 is what kept me hooked. In Emperors & Me, the storyline is more chaotic and all over the place. It's still entertaining, but the leads don't have the same appeal.
This one was a fun and fluffy foodie drama. I cringed so much watching, but at the end, I found that I did enjoy it a lot. Would love to thank the screenwriter from bringing back Shin Dong Wook and for also Soulmate, which she also wrote!
Are you talking about Buqi taking the fake death pill earlier on in the drama? He, male lead, later stated he didn't know he had feeling for her til after she "died" and thought it was only pity up until then. Also, he thought she was his biological half sister which would be taboo (not to mention ew). // Aside from maplestage, which is ahead of releasing episodes in comparison to Viki, I don't believe there is a site w/the full drama already uploaded. We do see clips of future episodes on Youtube though.
Is the female lead a strong character or she is depending too much on the male lead?
She's clever, but not physically strong (so far). Has been saved/rescued a handful of times, but definitely not a weak and idiotic character though. // I do feel the need to take breaks to rewatch drama scenes w/stronger, ass-kicking female leads like Princess Agents and Legend of Fuyao.
Wow! Thanks so much for translating this drama! Please let us know how to watch the episodes when you are ready.
Thank you so much, DreamingViolet. I absolutely loved the novel of "My Disciple Died Once Again" and was so excited that they came out with the drama. Hope you don't mind. Sent you a MDL friend request.
Just finished epi 20 and Buqi's maternal grandfather told her Mo Ruo Fei's father did attack/rape her mother and she gave birth to her. Did episode 21 explain otherwise that someone else was her father?
