Loved this drama. The characters and culture are very authentically Chinese and I love how the main couple’s journey showe a very mature approach to love and relationships, especially given the time setting. Great cast and well written script!

Watched this for Deng Xiaoci! He’s handsome as usual and great acting. Liked his portrayal of this emperor.

a lot of people seem to have lost the ability to just enjoy storytelling for what it is. not every question needs to be answered, not every moment needs to be explained. it’s a fantasy story and the actors did well and it was interesting.

This is a short form (mini) drama. They are different than regular dramas! I quite liked it. Usual plot holes and dramatic plot twists that are common for mini dramas but I think the cast did well!

It’s not like this, please finish watching first before judging.

Nobody cares though what Avenue X has to say. I’m glad she wasn’t a hater for once but she’s not a respectable person.

I have rarely watched something so silly and cringe. I really don’t understand the hype around this drama…

Watching this for Deng Kai ♥️ He looks stunning and his acting is great as usual.

Amazing potential as an actor. He’s doing so well already. Looking forward to seeing him in more good projects hopefully!

It’s quite easy to watch. I mainly watched for Deng Kai. The story is a bit confusing in certain parts and doesn’t always make sense but probably the bad subtitles on Mango don’t help. The acting is good!

So excited about the cast! Zhang Linghe, Tian Xiwei and Deng Kai ♥️

Admittedly biased because of Deng Kai 😄 he did so well. The drama was really good production and visually wise despite being a mini drama. There’s a lot of angst and red flags though so if you can’t see past that it’s not for you.
