is it just me or is the filming and production of this kinda corny? The last 2 modern dramas I watched were TFF and TBT, even hidden love i dont recall being filmed like this?

like i dont hate it but its a bit diff, maybe its the actors reactions but idk the ep 15 ending, felt kinda off, the OST fit great but idk...

is he blind the whole show? its not a case of they meet and he can magically see right?

It started fun, fell mediocre in the middle due to lazy writing, and didn't give the actors a script to shine in their roles. Nevertheless, it was entertaining, i watched every preview and it didnt piss me off. Too many "save the damsel in distress" moments and fake deaths, but the banter between the couple was fun :)

Solid 8/10 because of the leads' relationship and banter!

I think Bao is gonna eventually become a big actress and waiting on Song's The Eternal Fragrance, not a fan of jingyi but hope this turns me around.

because women didnt read or be authoritative in their ages, most of our own grandparents or great-grandparents werent aloud! thats what "witches" came from, women who were smart! The way the ML is outshining the other men, the FL outshines other women!

I think you don't understand the essence of this show, if your looking for a show with a smart grandma or a dumb FL, you might have to look somewhere else!

the ppl around her were servants, old women and military generals, ofc shell be smarter! most military men back then couldn't even read, she was reading at 3y/o

ahh so disappointing i hate when this type of stuff happens with forced to change endings or cut episodes so frustrating for the poor directors
