Two songs are in the credits of each episode ."Reaching for the stars" by Esbee, but I can't find it anywhere to listen or download (Esbee's old SNS are inactive or deleted). And "Hear me now" by 류리, which is the last song of the drama.
As I expected after the ending of episode 7, which was a little bit disappointing, even if it's an happy ending, it feels too rushed. Too bad, it could have been much more better with more time and development. And even though it's Japan, at least more skinship.
Can you think of another similar romcom with a similar story where any one of the leads is a movie star. This is…
Not totally similar but the most recent one I think of is "Sh**ting Stars". There is also "To My Star" if you like BL. "Record of Youth" maybe. "Oh My Ladylord" too. And "The Beauty Inside".
It's very cliché and with a lot of comedy, but it's actually very good, much more than I expected. Choi Soo Young and Yoon Park have such a great chemistry. I haven't liked a rom-com this much since many years. Too bad it's only 4 episodes.
To write "no offense but no one will do as well as" is actually disrespectful, you know?
First of all, I wrote "their replacements will not be as good as them, even if their performances are actually good". So I never tried to not offense or not be disrespectful to anyone, I just wrote what I think. Because from where I come, sharing an opinion on such trivial subject, and debate in general, is a high form of communication where we don't assume that every word must be censored to avoid to "hurt" the feelings and opinions of others about everything. If it was the case, comments and debate would be useless. We don't live in the country of the Care Bears. You feel offended ? You think it's disrespectful ? Well, too bad for you. My comment wasn't meant that way, it was just my will and right to share my opinion (without insulting or defaming anyone). That's not my problem if you are unable to read others comments that don't share your opinion without feeling offended or disrespected. If you think the new cast is good, or will be even better than the original, well, I don't share your opinion, but that's it. I will not come at you because I, personally, don't feel offended or disrespected because you shared an opinion different than mine (just like SimonaKdramas comment over there who shared her opinion, not criticised mine, like you). So, to answer your question, no, I don't know, because it's not how it works where I live (and not knowing or acknowledge that would be actually kind of disrespectful of you too if we go in that sense...).
Based on the trailer there is zero difference with Season 1 so it will all depends on the cast. But as a season 2, I don't have high expectations. It will only be a display of "hot" bodies and meaningless romances and "breakups".
Considering there is only one episode left, the development of the story in the last episode is disappointing compared to what the drama was so far. Mamoru self-pity and contradictions aren't understandable at all for me, and putting this "breakup" here, because of the usual miscommunication factor of every romance, is really a late move. If it's an happy ending, it will feel very rush considering that they have to make up in a 20 or so minutes episode, and if it's not a happy ending, well, it will just feel like a waste.
It's not that I dislike the new actors, but Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won owned these roles so much that their replacements will not be as good as them, even if their performances are actually good. Some people, like me, just don't like change of cast. I still hope this second season will be good, even though I'm not so excited about it.
It keeps being a very beautiful story. Of course it is romanticized, being a drama, but they are doing a great job so far telling this not so easy story. The cast is amazing. I wish Ren had more screen time, but he is doing a wonderful job. Haruna is a revelation for me here, her acting skills are very good, and all the others too. It's silly seing negative comments about support characters here. They need to be like this for the story to be told and move on. The important thing is that Oui and Khao, for example, are doing a great job at portraying their characters. Not sure how it will develop and end, but I hope for a beautiful and warm ending even if it's not the happiest one.
As a sequel it's very good, even if not as good as the TV series. However, it's a little contradictory for me that with the story told and the messages given, we didn't even had an explicit kiss. As much as I like and respect Akaso Eiji and Machida Keita as actors, and especially for these roles, it's a little bit disappointing that they couldn't make at least one explicit and more mature scene. In the TV series it was fine, but here it feels a little bit lacking.
A complex story with a lot of symbolism. Not a bright and joyful movie, but still a very good one. I liked Ayano Go a lot in this one. He is a great actor.
I agree his character has more importantance than Jiho, but the way they presented his character who is 24/7 obsessed…
We will see, the scandal and its repercussions will be dragged on for sure. But Hae Jin accepted to move on and end things (doesn't mean his feelings disappeared) in the last episode, just before Sang Eun's identity is revealed, so I don't see him still trying to win her over in the last episodes (if it's what happens, well, the character is way too pitiful). They will probably have more interactions and potential awkward moments though.
