It's a bit of a Japanese thing and.....well getting a young man to fit the size and manage all running in those…
Ofcourse I have? And it's a whole life style and even profession. Aka what is your point?
It's one thing when e.g. a professional horse rider goes n rides a horse well in a movie but a very different thing when an actress/actor not specialised in the field get the job done. They usually also have very little time to learn, whatever is required for each production.
So, OFCOURSE there are men who rock heels and there are women who absolutely don't. And the reality still stands, that finding the right fit of actors and actresses in the area for the respective time frame and budget with the capacity to pull certain things off AND act well AND have chemistry with their co-workers ..... you know ... it's not so easy in reality X'D
Also do not argue with me, I'm not part of the LGBTQIA+ community myself and I did express that I would also have appreciated an actually male actor in the role. I merely said I can see how that could have been difficult.
I do prefer the storyline so far as it happens in the animation series. But this was still nice to watch. I actually liked that they gave a lot of attention to the side characters, too. It was maybe a tad too tragdy loaded, but well, that somehow hits close to reality. The actors did a decent job regardless of the CGI sometimes being not exactly helpful.
These were hilarious and they did make some good points about relationship maintenance in the 2nd episode X'D. Ofcourse they're also laced with a heckin' lot of very very questionable stuff that hopefully noone ever considers. Like assuming pregnancies or not letting nature tae it's course without informing the partner etc. :'3
Awesome visuals wasted on storytelling so rushed and messy that the beauty went mostly to waste. And the actors of the original series also did a better job at bringing out the natures of their characters. Unfortunate.
Oh I actually like the 3D animation. And I kind of liked the actor, then there was drama, now I accidentally find that that supposedly has been resolved. Not sure though if he is a fit for the character. We'll see if the characterization works out or not.
Praying for a part 3 and praying for a combined soundtrack release, cause the music is haunting me! It's so good. I need it in proper quality and you know.... without fighting noises and all that!
Edit: I still want the story or at least the comic finished if they give up on the movie cause somehow the author is problematic, an actress had already been replaced and then the very serious scandal with Kris Wu (that I just learned about cause I'm in general rarely interested in any star stuff. They're working people to me like any [very important yet really underpaid!] service person out there.)
It's kind of more doable to stomach when it's ppl in the background or side characters. But the main lead character who is essential to the relationship plot and one standing for care and loyalty?? That's.... an extra kick to the gut on top of the pain of the human tragedy. (T~T)
He won't? Why? EDIT: OK, say no more! I clicked his name and saw it all. For heaven's sake, can't there please be no such shitty stuff happening anymore?! It's absolutely terrible regardless of the outcome and what side the crime will end up being on at the end! ////orz//// Is there any good story and franchise not involving people who turn out to be terrible OR get involved into mess terrible people! Can we all please concentrate on being humane and decent already? It's 2022, for heck's sake! How many more generations are we planning to need to sort the mess out enough for it to be a rare occurrence???
Please use the spoiler tag and spoil me on the ending.EDIT: Thank you everyone. Guess I'll be watching this!
Because I think I remember someone saying TGCF/HOB was "bad" in terms of so much heavy drama and tears to face before it ended well and this being worse? Does it end well, though? Cause I'm just not into drama much and atm. the drama that doesn't end well for the coulple would just be too much frustration. TGCF/HOB and MDZS were very painful but they spent a lot of time on happy things, too, when it comes to the couples and things come together in a good way at the end. So how about this?
unfortunately, people weren't so hyped about this drama because at the time, it was competing against "the untamed"…
X'D If you don't understand what working under censorship in China means and are oblivious to body language and symbolisms then that is acceptable but you shouldn't stoop so low as to disregard it when people can like your inabilities to see somtehing are the ultimate truth. It's just your own perspective. No less, but no more.
I would say it is kind of like eternal love because the female lead goes to the mortal realm to undergo a trial.…
Thank you, I've started it. I guess I can cope with some drama but at least the beginning is them being rather caring and supportive of each other. Now it depends on how they handle the conflict.
EL was terrible in the sense of the handling of the eye-inscident -_-# And then there just being too many unreasonable ppl and the constant failure to godamn stand with each other. In these regards this drama is already doing much better. The side characters are lovely and against my expectations the emperror is not an completely obnoxious idiot while I'm unhappy the queen seemingly going that direction.
I'll hope they keep the level of drama relatable and not unbearable!
I wonfder if to even start this. Because While Eternal Love was pretty and I loved the characters the plot gave me rage. Those gods and their cruelties are so obnoxious it hurt to watch.
Meanwhile Eternal Love of Dream was lovel even though they, too, went through their set of drama that made me want to put them through a scolding like little children who fail at basic communication.
And here I watch the trailer and I'm already seeing those ridiculous patterns again of obnoxious "judgements" and needing to learn everything the hard way. I really really love the visuals of that world. The camera and all and the actors and costumes. So I wonder if it'll be more like the Eternal Love, and laced with many displeasing frustrations, or of they'll overall strive to maintain a caring fun atmosphere like in Eternal Love of Dream where there was still suffering going on but the care of the couple for each other was constantly there.

Sorry for the rant. But this is so upsetting!
EDIT: Thank you everyone. Guess I'll be watching this!
Anyway, it's a good idea to move on.

Someone help?
