As a guy it's not often that I recognize when a guy is very handsome

- We learn about their past through a few flashbacks along the show, so we dont know this from the start: In highschool, FL was chasing after ML. They became very good friends, but suddenly ML disappeared and she was sad and mad. ML was already in love with her, and even about to confess, but because of money problems, his family had to move.
- Like I said, all that is shown little by little. In episode 1, in the present. FL is the granddaughter of the chairman of a company where ML works, and she begins working there undercover, in the same department as ML (all just coincidence)
- Almost at the start they start behaving like good friends and even flirting a lot already at episode 2.
- They are amazing together already at this point. So why dont they get together until much later? Well, there's always something. Yes, there are small missunderstandings, but very lighthearted things. Just always a little bit to make them not get together, but not stop being great together
- In episode 11 ML confesses but she rejects him. It's not entirely clear why. There's a rumor that he is with another girl and that's supposed to be the reason, but to be honest it's not entirely clear if FL believes it or not, since they continue flirting
- Like I said the small missunderstandings dont affect their nice relationship, they are always nice and flirty with eachother
- In episode 20 they really get together
- They are great together, altho they keep having short harmless missunderstandings. It's just their dynamic xD. But they just tease eachother about them
- In episode 29, there is.... officially a break up. But hear me out, it's short and not bad, but I have to call it that since they say those words specifically. FLs company has some big trouble. ML was in an academy which was his dream. But he decides to put it on hold to help FL. She doesnt want him to do that, and when he insists, she says, then I break up with you. It only lasts 1 episode, and even during that time they keep doing stuff for the other one. Also, this helps ML get the aproval from FLs grandpa.
- In 30 they get together again, in a pretty sweet way which makes you see they never intended to really break up.
- The last episode 32, is a bit underwhelming because like You are My glory it focuses on the launch of a rocket, and who cares about that, except chinese people thinking that makes their country great xD. Still, he uses that to propose to FL
- In the last scene we see them in the future with a kid

No love triangles (there are other people who like them, but not even secondary characters, just support roles that rarely appear)
No toxic people (theres a few assholes who do bad stuff, but again more like support roles than important secondary characters)
I cant say no breakup because there is officially one, but I hate breakups and this was nothing.
Lots of sweetness, flirting, satisfying moments and steamy kisses

Just finished. Wow, very good. So enjoyable.

I love lighthearted sweet shows, and it's hard to find one where I dont want to skip parts. But there was no skipping needed in this one. It joined the few dramas I rated over 9.

Both leads are awesome to the other one since episode 2. Doing stuff for the other one and being sweet all the time.

Oh, and if you like steamy kisses, this show has them indeed. For asian standards at least.

So yeah, a pleasure to watch if you like sweet lighthearted shows.

his confessions only told her he liked her. he never said, let's get together now. he wanted to be better for her. meanwhile she did tell him to please forget the revenge and get together with her.


Having somebody like you is not enough to create chemistry. we never saw ML glancing at FL with loving eyes or something like that. to make a haply ending, shortly before the end he realises wow she helped me so much, I like her. that's not a good romance story. the story with the other girl was so much better

Why is he jealous? Love triangle? You say FL is your favourite, but I cant imagine a favourite character making her partner jealous? Does she clearly stop the other guys?

Watch Love the way you are. It's teh same story but 100% lighthearted. Loved it

Finished rewatching it.
It is a very good show. But I didnt enjoy it as much as the first time. Last time I thought it was very sweet, but this time around, I realized how much of a difference in their mutual love amout is, and that is never good for chemistry.
And dont get me wrong, she is very loving and sweet towards him later on. It takes quite some time tho, even in the first 5 episodes after already being together she isnt sweet towards him. Later she is very loving, but still, the amount of love he has for her is absolutly overwordly, too much for how she treats him in my opinion, always making him apologize and humiliate himself for her infront of others.

Second couple relationship in the dream part is one of the best relationships Ive seen in any show, even counting main leads. They are absolutly perfect together, more than the main couple. They help eachother the same amount, they tease eachother the same amount, they are there for the other one the same amount... wish leads relationship would have been as balanced. But like I said, it's like this only in the dream part. After the dream part they also put the girl "above" him in the relationship.

The main relationship is clearly focused towards girls guilty pleasure of having the best guy doing everything for FL while she minds her own business.

Still, objectively speaking, an amazing show, and even if you dont like that girls guilty pleasure, it's an enjoyable show.

Only that scene? What about the worst get together Ive seen in any romance? FL knows ML has had big insecurities because of her not showing her love to him, the dream part even ended with her running after him to fix that.... and in the real world she does it even worse, and makes him humiliate himself infront of her blind date.

Mmh I enjoyed this show a lot a year a go, but Im rewatching it and Im not so sure why I enjoyed it the last time. FL has done absolutly nothing for their relationship. She just nags about it and hasnt looked happy even once about it in the 3 episodes they've been together...
A romance is good when both are awesome to eatchoher, not only one of them

episode 22. FLs friend (guy) goes to her home and finds ML there. ML tells him FL is not there because she is visiting her female friend. then the guy tells him that that friend died 3 years ago and explains about the problem.
(I'm terrible with Asian names)

About 3 episodes before the end, ML finds out FLs best friend,who she still says she meets sometimes, died 3 years ago, when both got stuck in the elevator (her friend had claustrophobia and heart problems)we have seen her several timeswith her since then, but we find out in this moment that she was an imagination (the scenes after she died, she was a real friend before that, thisnis all because of the shock of her dieing).ML sees a doctor and he tells him it's best to not tell her she is wrong, just to try to distract her with other things. we still see a few scenes of FL talking about her and ML worrying.... and then the topic never appears again in the show I guess that means she finally forgets about it, it it didn't make sense to even have this topic if they make a few scenes and then forget about it

ML and audience finds out about this when FLs friend tells ML about it

FL never realizes she has this problem

- Leads are neighbours, their parents are best friends, and they have been raised like siblings.
- The show already starts with them having an awesome relationship.
- During the first episodes we can already see a few glimpses form ML which show that he likes her, but they still act like friends.
- FL has her first love triangle. She isnt sure what love is and is testing if she really likes him. They go out on a few (harmnless) "dates". sML is a very comical character, like I explained above it can be annoying but it is not ansgty at all.
- One of the weird out of pace moments happen. One pisode she is talking with sML on the phone, episode ends, next starts and it seems time went by and they arent going on dates anymore and she is already likeing somebody else.
- This one is more like somebody she admires (she says so much later in the show) but at this point, she likes him. I'ts very short tho, like one episode then he disappears. Again, i'ts 0 agnsty since that guy doesnt even consider her as a love candidate.
- After this we get several episodes where ML clearly likes her. They have a few "moments" but she always runs away.
- He goes to university and they spend one year apart (theya re the same age but he skipped a year). It is anotehr weird out of pace moment, since we saw before this how when they had to spend some short time separated before they were devastated, and here,.... it was like nothing.
- One year later she has to choose a university and he gets bolder and bolder inissting on her to go to his same university and making real physical attempts.
- She finally goes to his university (another weird thing, since the final decission is never shown)
- There he starts making many moves on her, but she always either runs away or never even notices them
- After several of them she starts getting interested too. And starts wondering if she likes it.
- We get another love triangle, but this one is nothing really. Just some delusional guy forcing himself onto her
- Shortly after that, both leads get togethejr in episode 17 (scene starts at the end of 16).
- 3 of their 4 parents are very happy about it (the other one is just a bit grumpy about it)
- They are lovley together most of the time, like they were since the start of the show
- We get yet another love triangle, this one pretty annoying since both leads handle it terribly. It's just a random guy suddenly courting FL even knowing she has a boyfriend. FL clearly says she has a boyfriend, yes, but just once. After that she always says excuses to him, but never shows how annoyed she really is and that he is causing her trouble and should leave her be. Its like "i have a boyfriend" and never ever say anything else bad to him, just excuses. And ML is annoyed but still what he does makes no sense. It was ridiculous, annoying and also was fixed like by magic in a ridiculous way.
- After that we also see a quarrel between them. FL does something a bit bad, nothing important. Still ML gets a bit annoyed, just a little bit.... and guess who has to apologize. Yes, ML. FL has been neglecting ML for about 5 days. And then she goes to the movies agaijn without him. Her friend brings his BF to the movie, and yes, that was a missunderstanding, but still, she has been neglecting him and even her friend though abnout brining her BF and she didnt. So ML gets a tiny bit annoyed..... and she runs away mad and he has to apologize. Imagine the opposite, that ML would have been neglecting FL. How much he would have had to apologize...
- In the final episode he proposes and we see a miniclip of the future of them having 2 kids.

I realize most Ive written here sounds bad. But.... the show is still very good. Their relationship is really very good and a joy to watch. It just also has annoying things. But the show is comical and 100% lighthearted, so dont take these bad things the same as you would in other shows that turn angsty.

EDIT: second couple has a big breakup but ends up together. They are in a distant relationship. ML stops contacting FL for several days including her birthday and she breaks up with him. He was working on the mountains and didnt have signal, yet she still broke up with him for that for an entire year. Guess who had to apologize like crazy.

It is very good, or would be if it didnt have 4 frikin love triangles. They are not angsty at all, even comical, but still annoying and waste screentime

The show is a mix of "When I fly towards you", and the "past" scenes of My fated boy (which were hilarious and amazing). This show would be amazing without those love triangles.

Also, while most of these type of shows have a bigger female audience, this one is a bit too much focused on pleasing girls. In both romances it's always the guy doing everything for the girl, always the guy apologizing (even when it's the girls fault), and even the love interests from outsiders are completly double standards. While all girls like ML, they do so from afar, ML stops any kind of aproach and they never cause FL the slightest problem. Their only purpose is to show how all girls want him but only FL gets him, pleasing female watchers. On the other hand, FLs triangles are there to make ML jealous and worried, again to please female watchers. And I dont like how either of the leads handle those other FL love interests.

I still enjoyed it a lot. It is very sweet and their relationship is amazing. But without the love triangles it would get over 9 rating instead of an 8

I want to emphasize that anybody hating love triangles like me should not avoid the show. They are NOT angsty. They just make it less good than it would be, but not bad.

Oh yeah, like other comments say, it has some pacing problems. They suddenly make some timejumps between one scene and another where you didnt realize it happened.
