Very well said. 👏 One thing that will never make sense to me is this growing idea that fiction must somehow pass a morality test before we're allowed to enjoy it. Stories are not instruction manuals for life, and viewers are not children who need every unhealthy behavior labeled and condemned for them. We are perfectly capable of recognizing that jealousy, obsession, possessiveness, manipulation, or messy relationships can be unhealthy in real life while still finding them fascinating, exciting, or entertaining in fiction.
In fact, some of the most memorable stories exist precisely because the characters are flawed and their relationships are complicated. Fiction should be allowed to explore the entire spectrum of human behavior — beautiful, ugly, healthy, toxic, rational and completely unhinged — without the audience being accused of endorsing everything they enjoy watching.
If someone personally finds a relationship disturbing, that's completely valid. Don't enjoy it. Criticize the writing. Drop the drama. But deciding that everyone else should be disturbed by it too, or judging their character because they aren't, is where criticism turns into moral policing.
Sometimes I want a beautiful healthy romance. Sometimes I want jealousy, possessiveness and a man yelling “HE'S MINE!” 😂 Neither one determines what I consider acceptable in my actual life. It simply means I enjoy different kinds of stories.
We don't have to approve of fictional behavior to enjoy the story it creates. And fiction would become incredibly boring if every character had to behave like a walking relationship-therapy pamphlet. 😂👏

But seriously, thank you for the recommendation! I just looked up Match Point, and it actually sounds interesting 👀 Adding it to my list… which absolutely did NOT need any help getting longer. 😂 but I am loving it!

I would like to file a complaint against Mr. Fanboy. 😂 I only pressed play on episode 1 to “see if it’s any good.” THAT WAS IT. No commitment. No emotional attachment. Just a quick little inspection. Somehow I am now invested, attached to Wan and Third, enjoying the hell out of the characters and chemistry, side-eyeing certain people 👀, and impatiently waiting for the next episode like I don’t already have 47 other airing BLs demanding custody of me. 🤡
At this point I don’t even choose dramas anymore. I casually watch one episode, and suddenly I’ve adopted three characters, developed trust issues about another one, and rearranged my week around an airing schedule. 😂
Mr. Fanboy had absolutely no business being this entertaining. I came to investigate. I accidentally moved in.

As a nurse working in a hospital, I can assure you that medically questionable things happen in dramas ALL the time. 😂 If I stopped watching every time someone performed CPR wrong, treated a wound incorrectly, or miraculously recovered from something they absolutely shouldn’t have, my watchlist would be very short, almost nonexistent. Sometimes the basic logic and/or medical brain in me just has to clock out. 😂Yes my brain notices it, says “yeah, that’s not how that works,” and then moves on because, thankfully, I’m watching a drama and not reviewing a patient’s chart. 😂

Eli/Queer me too!!!! I am currently watching: The Last Oath, Nour, Ash, Kiss or Kill, The Missing Piece, Mr. Fanboy, and You Maniac. With each one, I was just checking out episode 1 to see if it was any good… and somehow I ended up getting hooked on ALL of them. 😂

I’m usually not into music dramas, but *Four Hands, Two Sonatas* feels like something completely different. I was only a few minutes into the first episode when I realized I was holding my breath, and by the end my heart genuinely hurt. It’s not the music that pulled me in—it’s the characters, their stories, their loneliness, their struggles, and all the quiet pain they carry. I already care so deeply about both of them. If one episode can evoke this many emotions, I can only imagine what the rest of this drama will do to my heart. 😭❤️

i actually really liked his thug persona look. I liked that white piece of hair :)) but he looks good both ways.

What a hidden gem! I honestly didn't expect to love this drama as much as I did. It was fast-paced, addictive, romantic, and full of action and emotion. The leads have amazing chemistry and are the true definition of a power couple—both strong, capable, and willing to do anything for each other.

And the male lead's protectiveness? Just wow!. He is the definition of “I will burn the world down to protect my woman.” 🔥 His devotion and intensity were off the charts.

Great chemistry, passionate romance, strong leads, plenty of danger and action, I loved it from beginning to end. Definitely deserves more love than it gets.

I feel the same way! This is the second drama after "Reset" that genuinely made me sad to end. It's silly but I am emotional because I really looked forward to every episode. I love this couple so much and I loved the story too.

I agree—we'll probably get a lot of revenge-related developments next episode. I'm just hoping they don't confuse speed with payoff. Both revenge arcs have been building for all those episodes that I'd love to see them executed in a way that feels satisfying rather than rushed. My only concern is whether two episodes are enough to execute both revenge arcs properly and still give them the emotional payoff they deserve.

I know everyone is talking about the NC scene, which was amazing, BUT..... with only two episodes left, I'm starting to worry about the pacing of the ending. Both leads have payback/revenge to carry out, and neither storyline feels close to its resolution. That's a lot to fit into such a short amount of time. I really hope the writers deliver a strong ending instead of cramming everything into a rushed finale and diminishing everything they've built so far.

Not every drama is meant for every viewer, and that's okay. If red-flag characters or toxic relationships aren't your thing, there's absolutely nothing wrong with choosing a different drama. But enjoying morally flawed fictional characters doesn't mean people support that behavior in real life. Portraying unhealthy relationships isn't the same as endorsing them, and fiction isn't meant to be an instruction manual for relationships. It's a space to explore conflict, obsession, jealousy, flawed decisions, and the more complicated sides of human nature. Some of us enjoy these stories because they're emotionally engaging and dramatically compelling—not because we see the characters as role models or believe their relationships should be emulated in real life.

Your comment is brilliant 😂 You're absolutely right, not all BL lovers dig the physical expression of love. For me personally it depends on the story. Unfortunately in some dramas, sometimes the physical expression of love is the only thing that carries the drama. While in some other dramas, you might have dead fish kisses, awkward hugs etc, yet the plot and other aspects make the drama awesome to the point you can deal with the awkward kissing/intimate scenes.

lol yes, the bed scene is really great. I finished watching all airing episodes of "Deep in drama" (which I see on your watch list), and I thought about how freaking awesome their bed scenes are in every episode. Then I came to watch this drama and saw the bed scene and I immediately thought, "another drama with a great bed scene". What a treat for BL lovers. :D
