The script was pretty good but the drama overall was a little bit boring. Not the best vertical drama but not the worst either.

WeTv has few vertical dramas. I watched few of them there but they are for rent. So even if you are a VIP you still have to pay $5.99 for each vertical drama. I know dramabox has lots of vertical dramas but I am not willing to pay $20 A WEEK for subscription. Lol that's why vertical dramas I watch mainly on YouTube or daily motion

the websites that you mentioned IQIYI, Tencent, YOUKU, Viki, if you become VIP you will not have to watch the ads. Otherwise, pretty much any website/app will have adds. Some of the illegal websites don't have ads but the vertical dramas are not really available on them. The longer dramas are though. If you don't want to pay for becoming VIP then your main option for watching the vertical dramas is youtube and dailymotion.

I can't believe this was a vertical drama. It was really really good.. I enjoyed every minute of it . One of the best vertical dramas that I have watched.

I dropped after 7 episodes. It wasn't bad. But I stopped for one day because of being busy and I just never felt like going back to watching it. I guess the first 7 episodes didn't intrigued me enough and didn't grab enough attention to go back to it. It wasn't one of those dramas where you can't wait to see the next episode.

For such a short drama, it was actually really good. I enjoyed it from the start to the end. It wasn't the best drama I have ever seen, but it was good. To be honest , for some reason my expectations for this drama were much lower. So, I was positively surprised. :)

obviously you don't know the difference, because she simply stated that the series didn't meet her expectations. That's not a hate comment. But I don't have time or energy to educate you. In totally agree. I waited for it so long and finally it happened. and it was so freaking good. I shed some tears as well. It is often difficult for second seasons of dramas to create similar emotions like seasons 1 . But when it comes to this drama both seasons not only were fantastic but also evoked really similar emotions. I laughed, I cried, I felt angry, I felt happy and so on.

I was worried that second season would disappoint me, especially that season 1 was phenomenal. But OMG second season did not disappoint. It was fantastic. I am happy it felt like continuation of first season. Sometimes with dramas the second season can feel like a completely different show but luckily this one didn't. It was action packed but also emotional at times. Just like season 1 it grabbed my heart and made me emotional at times. I really loved it.

First 14 episodes were boring. I really wanted to drop this drama. The second half was good. But I didn't think this drama was amazing. Maybe because of all of the positive comments that I read, I had higher expectations for this drama and that's why I am disappointed. The acting was really good, the costumes were good as well, but the plot was nothing new and like I said the first half was boring. But it's not a bad drama.

I feel the same way! Even though the plot was pretty good and the cinematography and costumes were really nice, for some reason I was bored. I literally was fighting to doze off during most of the drama. And I totally agree with you on their chemistry. It wasn't a bad drama but it didn't evoke any emotions in me.

To be honest, I was hesitant to watch it because of the negative comments. So I expected it to be bad, but honestly it wasn't bad. It definitely wasn't the best Dai Gao Zheng drama but it wasn't bad. I liked it but I do agree that the plot development was slow and draggy and repetitive. The chemistry was very good and we all know that Dai Gao is the best at kissing scenes and I think this female actress matched his kissing skills better than many other actresses that he played with. It frustrated me in other dramas whenever he was passionately kissing the girl but she would keep her lips closed. Luckily in this drama the female was more natural when kissing with him.

The plot was definitely unique and refreshing which I liked and the acting was really good. It was a good drama but nothing spectacular for me. It didn't have a wow factor . It was just a good quick watch, but that's about it.
