I doubt the location is A.I, they film the show on a real island, there are even behind the scene footage that…
i think i'm allowed to be "dramatic" about something that's actively ruining our planet, destroying people's livelihoods, making there be no drinking water in cities with data centers, amping up the cost of electricity, ruining archives of knowledge, destroying our youth, endangering the arts etc. :)
Same, ketgotyourtongue. There are 2 sides to SBS using AI to save 60% of production costs. I searched "What…
it sucks so much that it's costing the jobs of so many hardworking and talented people in order to create slop. i was already a bit suspicious of some kdramas (esp the opening sequences) and i hate that nowadays i have to look at everything with a part of my mind trying to figure out its ai. i dont want ai in my books, i dont want it in my movies or my shows, i dont want it in my music.
if they're cutting costs SIXTY percent the ai use has to be substantive. it terrifies me. also bc people won't care as long as their favorite actors are in it :/
OMG! I just saw the article! I had no idea that SBS was using AI in their dramas. And apparently, it's not just…
i dropped the doctor on edge so fast when i saw the title card about them using ai, and i'll definitely be very careful about what i choose to watch in the future. it sucks!

the background was definitely AI in a few scenes i'm not blind. just because they're physically on an island doesn't mean what we see on screen is 1:1. there were definitely AI enhancements.
i'm not familiar with the webtoon, but they could have put it through an AI program to get the script. i doubt every line is a 1:1 adaptation.
as i said, i lack the trust. but you keep enjoying it, i just wont :)
the show is proud about using AI in the production. i cannot trust that this beautiful location we're being sold is real (and many scenes in the first two episodes look weird); nor can i trust it wasn't written with AI either. while i am a fan of the ML, i dropped this.
cutting costs with AI is disrespecting the craft, crew, cast and most importantly the audience. i will not waste my time on AI slop when i can watch human made efforts that will always be better.
i hope actors start considering their projects more carefully.
Imo donations should be done without any pr around them.
i understand that sentiment and generally i'd be inclined to agree but fans do get encouraged to donate when they see their favorite actors or idols donate and it is proven to boost donations. i'm sure after this article released, a lot of his fans also donated for his birthday.
Bro, to be honest, 6 episodes are much better than those 12 and 16 episode dramas which are being dragged these…
tbh i'd disagree, imo anything less than 8 feels like it could have just been a movie. meanwhile a lot of dramas that have had 10-12 episodes i felt could have benefitted from the extra 4
I watch clip of the thief drama and it was quite funny but it’s true I’m not sold on their chemistry yet to…
i think i gave up on the 3rd ep, it just wasnt for me. and there's sooo much stuff these days that i can't be sticking around dramas that don't hook me regardless of cast even
Perfect thief is quite nice. Things aren't perfect but it's very enjoyable. I'm watching too many dramas right…
there's so much i have on my list (both backlist, current and upcoming) that idk if i'll find the time to jump back into something that didn't grab me from the first 2 to 4 eps. who knows though! i'm glad you're enjoying it! <3
no tail to tell was an obvious mess from the first two episodes - there was no clear plot and it remained all over the place in the next two episodes as well. the golden spoon did a much better job of life-switching imo. i feel bad for kim hyeyoon bc she deserved a great drama after lovely runner was a hit to really cement her as a leading actress. maybe the good partner s2 will deliver, however i'm reluctant bc of the major casting changes in that one.
absolutely love undercover miss hong, it's hilarious and i think park shinhye is perfect for these roles! i know i'll sound crazy if i compare it to her work in the judge from hell, but she needs to stick with these comedy-leaning self-assured women with an underlying romance. i think she found her niche.
the judge returns is a classic "another chance to live better and/or get revenge" drama that i can't get enough of as a trope (perfect marriage revenge, marry my husband, reborn rich) and i've really been enjoying it even if i think it could benfit from tighter pacing.
gave up on my perfect thief, i'm a hard sell on historical settings and the first two episodes didn't hook me, which is a shame as i love nam jihyun. unfortunately, i've yet to see a good moon sangmin drama...
positively yours is criminally underrated! i wasnt expecting much but it's such a classic romcom and imo the episodes keep getting better! i wish more people gave it a shot, but i'm afraid it'll remain a hidden gem.

UMH is soooo fun!! i hope it sticks the landing
