He lost his arms while protecting Canglei Palace from the beasts. That's all. Till the end he held on to his determination to serve his lord and protect the palace.

This drama does had lots and lots of potential, especially when veteran like Bai Lu is casted. But it fell down in the middle of nowhere. The character I'm most impressed with is Bai jiusi. His love towards HRY is his everlasting commitments, His unspoken loyalty and quiet strength is remarkable. His role was well written. Also Ling'er, one of the very good supporting roles, her sacrifices are immense.
But the story? Ok I can understand that this story itself is about the love tribulation. But why are there so much useless characters consuming time?
That White snake, I suppose the spirit of god would always be by there side and help them. It can't be in mortal realm that's fine but even after that it didn't appear. Is it written only to carry Bai Lu for her grand appearance in front of BJS?
The four Venerables? Like why do the production even waste money for their costumes and time to record their scenes?
The emissary, didn't even appear on screen only the envoy came that too just to give punishments to the leads.
There are also other sidekicks, without proper story and use.
The swords? Which god's sword can be controlled others? forget about control, Zhuri didn't even recognize HRY(it's owner) before piercing her.
Also HRY changed the fate of the child in the parallel world, but anyhow, as lord yu ya said, the child would consume all the spiritual power of HRY and drain her to death.
The plot started out so well , The graph dropped in the mid. But the Main leads stabilized the graph with their acting alone.

This is too good for a short series ain't it? The FL is nailing the role and story is also good considering it as a short series. Why didn't they go with big production and more eps when everything is in place? This is one of the very good short dramas. I love Badass FL and FL being a martial artist.

MM and feud are a total opposites. This plot revolves around misunderstanding alone and it's the reason for their feud! The actors slayed their roles but if you are here for healthy main leads, I advise you not to watch.
I just watched upto 27! Still there is no proper end to their misunderstandings.
From comment section I could see that most of the MM fans didn't like feud and vice versa! Anyways, if you are into lovr tribulation, illusion, misunderstanding, slow burn, with romance being seasoned you are good to go.

But you know what mom in TFF is the worst but she wasn't a part of main cast so we had hatred towards her most of the time but not frustrating because of screen time.
But here she's almost everywhere. Coming just to annoy the hell outta me.

He actually started to like her long ago. It's just that ML is doing things to get attention of FL or probably to start a conversation with her! He also hid the letters of FL's male friend! He is not openly pursuing her because he understood what is going on with FL and her sister. So he is helping her in silence.

Chemistry is damn! No second couple. It's a thriller! Hooked up so far.

Apparently it's because many were misled by the trailer. Trailer is more like a fluffy romantic campus story which is dead opposite of what is actually going on!

Ikr! I have personal experience in many dramas like this. They calling me antis is crazy! Also there is a group roaming here by saying "you are a fan of so and so actor and that's why you're bullshitting here ". I was baffled.

ML, have his own story. Due to his father's occupation, His father didn't pay any attention to the family which frustrated his mom to leave the house, leaving ML with father. Also He basically grew up with his grandfather, who took care of hum. But when his grandfather was sick and was under ventilator, his father removed the ventilator {probably for Grandpa's sake} which angered ML. Hence, Ml hold grudge against his father.

He is a genius, but not perfect.

Exactly, they are over shadowed. But you know , the thriller definitely need someone to be revolved around, and more when thriller is based on only one story. Since Thriller is a main tag for reborn. It revolves around QB. I hope Main leads would be focused in atleast second half. Let's wait. I believe this drama.
