They would have proceeded like they didn't know the third enemy because they don't want ZH to get clue, and they wanted ZH himself to find all the enemy one by one so that he'd get more insight about the Gui seal and retrieve it from the person who had this. If ZH knew the 3rd enemy he'd never retrieve the Gui seal because if he kill the 3rd enemy, the revenge is complete. So all the fuss.
