depends, if it's just a taiwanese accent it's very similar to mandarin, but just with an accent. taiwanese itself is a dialect which is different from mandarin. usually in taiwanese dramas they just talk with an accent.
Can i ask someone... What is the meaning of 'Why Lao Zi write Tao Te Ching?' in their conversation in episode…
lao zi (老子) can also be used to refer to yourself, so when they answer this question they say ''because lao zi wanted to [write tao te ching]'', with which they mean ''because i wanted to''
Show me where that is in the drama itself or a BTS scene that was an accidental move.
okay and what if there's worse behavior in other dramas? doesn't justify or make anything in this one any better. instead of saying ppl should get used to gross behavior of men, call out the behavior. and before you'll ask me how many dramas i've watched to make you feel like my comment is worthy of your consideration: i grew up watching cdramas and have easily watched over 100 dramas.
She literally fell down, and instead of catching her he PULLED at her bra strap, which would be the last thing someone should do when they're already falling towards that direction. This drama is ridiculous, if you don't see it, well, enjoy watching it then. People have been criticizing this rightfully while giving valid points. You're asking people to be respectful? Maybe try to respect the opinions of others then as well. Not to mention zhang han isn't that great of a person in real life either, and he doesn't even have an experience with scriptwriting, so it's nothing but normal his script isn't perfect and has gained lots of disapproval given his little experience. As a native speaker I'd like to add: the dialogue is in no way good.
tbh i wasn't impressed by wu lei's acting although it did get better the more episodes i watched! not really comfortable with his charachter 081 though... he just seemed a tad bit too much into niaoniao, and didn't communicate that well with her. i genuinely would be scared if 081 approached me the same way he approached niaoniao irl. but i'm glad there's much character development going on!
it's so bad that it's realistic. i mean this portrays perfectly how men treat and think about women in real life. says a lot about zhang han himself. it's also incredibly funny how he inserts the most awful situations into the drama that should've been left behind in the 2010's. genuinely concerned for those who cannot see the obvious red flags in behavior of the male leads. just for another good laugh: zhang han spent four years on this laughable script.
not sure what episode you're on, but behind the tiles there is open space found by him. the drama is kind of implying…
not necessarily, i believe the drama is trying to show its viewers how there might be more secrets inside this building. instead of setting any charachters up, i personally believe that the drama is trying to tell us that multiple incidents and/or people are involved with mo mo's disappearance. i guess we'll have to wait for the next episodes to get more answers :)
I don't understand what is going on ?? what is the connection between the second male lead with his obsession…
not sure what episode you're on, but behind the tiles there is open space found by him. the drama is kind of implying that the disappearance of mo mo could be linked with this secret room/passage.
i guess i understand all the comparisons between sg and aib because they both have death games, but the way people blatantly ignore (or don't see?) the social critique that are in sg is quite something tbh.
i want to watch this but i'm already watching way too much rn, so if you had to name the three strongest points of this drama that made you enjoy it, which three would you name?
oooh this seems interesting! for those who are watching, are there other Chinese shows with the same detective/investigation…
the detectives' adventures and great escape are also similar shows! although i'd say (especially in the case of the detectives' adventures) it's slightly less heavy on the investigating

also love the bgm in this!

张翰还我一双干净的眼睛!
so if you had to name the three strongest points of this drama that made you enjoy it, which three would you name?
