This right here about to be K-Drama of the YEAR, OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! 😱😭The story, the characters, the cinematography, the acting, THE. CHEMISTRY.✨🔥👏 It's all absolutely DELICIOUS. 😍I haven't been immersed in an Asian drama like this in forever?????? 🤯I just watched episode 2 and I felt like time flew by????? It was over and I was like, wait didn't I click play 2 minutes ago????🫨
I am not going to obsess over labels like love triangle, BL or bromance because that's irrelevant to me, I will appreciate this masterpiece no matter what. I do have my expectations but I trust in the these two actors and the script is so strong, they won't fail me!!! 💪🔥
Gosh, I wish I could binge-watch it, it's simply too exciting and addictive!!!
PS: NOBODY TOUCH MY SON CHOI JEONG YO. I will protect him with my life 🔪👿That ep1 opening is STRESSING me out 😰
You know what, I really appreciate the fine acting by everyone and but...
I'm SO. DAMN. TIRED of everyone being so miserable and the bad guys just winning and finding their way out of every trap. 😤Yu couple is so disgusting, I can barely look at the screen when they speak. 🤮Mrs. Yu's voice is the equivalent of nails scratching a chalkboard and that Yu father has the most annoying "Nothing can ever touch me and you're all beneath me" expression on his face EVER. 🤬I'd love to punch it out of him and throw him in a lake with piranhas.🔪☠️👿
Zhao Ling and Tingyun have like two minutes of happiness in the whole drama and thousands of days of misery and misfortune. 😒At this point, we won't be getting any cute couple scenes until the final seconds of the final episode (if we're lucky enough🙄).
It's a heavy drama. One that will make you feel more angry and stressed rather than entertained. And that's coming from someone who loves political dramas...
This should have been 16 episodes FOR SURE. 🙎So we could get more cases and really embrace that "spooky" element but they instead went with a rehash of K-Drama cliché tropes. 😒(worst of all: annoying relatives causing a divide in the couple's relationship, break up in episode 10, white truck of doom in episode 11, "a year later" in episode 12🙄)
I can't believe we didn't even get their wedding or even a KISS in the finale... I'm so sad.😭
Until episode 7-8 I had this rated as a 10/10 but now I dropped it to 8.5/10. I would have given it an 8 if it weren't for the amazing acting and chemistry of our main couple. I really hope they reunite again for another project in the future, they're fantastic and I want to see their dramas more often.✨👏
And a positive comment about ep12: I loved Yeo Ri's scene in the in-between with all the people she saved showing her their deep gratitude and giving her their blessing to avoid the Grim Reaper. 🥹That endless line of the people she saved was so moving to me. And Ji-Hwan, what an angel, finally found peace.🥺
All in all, I'm not completely disappointed but I wish this has lived up to its potential. It really could have been THE BEST 2026 Drama...😔
I mean, it's a Cheng Yi drama, of course there are more chances for it to not be a happy ending 😞
But perhaps they won't show the death of the Crown Prince who becomes the Emperor in the drama?? I sure hope so at least. They can let the audience imagine he has a long and peaceful rule ahead of him ... (which he didn't, historically... I think he only ruled for a few years years before dying at 35)
Why couldn't we have a villain ghost so that it could take care of that annoying old hag for me... 👿SHE'S RUINING MY SHIP, JUST STFU WITH YOUR SUPERSTITIOUS CRAP!!!!!!!!!🤬 I don't want this meaningless angst in the final two episodes????? 🤢Unfortunately, I see a sloppy, rushed ending in the horizon... 😭 Writers, STOP pulling the same old cliche BS. 👎Like, we already know this predictable formula by heart, surprise us for a change and don't go down the same overused route. I'm so mad!!!!!!!!! 😡
is it just me or all recent dramas ending with just 12 eps , I miss the 16 ep times🤧
It is the sad reality. The only K-Dramas I've watched this year with 16 episodes are "Phantom Lawyer" and "To My Beloved Thief"......... 😞And to think we used to have K-Dramas with even more than 16 episodes back in the day... 😓
I'm halfway thorugh it, should I stop?? (crying)Edit: It's not that bad. They just broke up after his grandmother…
I just watched it too. OMG, I HATE that old hag!!! 👿Why do K-Dramas always pull this crap??????? 🤬These forced break ups in the final episodes that totally ruin the good vibes and bring unnecessary angst to the table. 😤I hope it gets resolved in the first half of episode 11 or ELSEEEEE 🔪😡

I'm glad I didn't start this. I'll wait till it's over to binge!!!
