I feel like he killed his brother. His brother is the one often haunting Yeo Ri and her potential love interests. I think maybe Ji Hwan and Yeo Ri had something and Min Hwan was jealous (and also felt inferior because he's not the biological son of his parents) so he took the shot and caused his brother's drowning. That's just my theory though. But I'm absolutely certain he's guilty of something anyway.

I kept wanting to see more shots from the inside because the feeling of the area felt so familiar!!

I meant the drama has an atmosphere like "Parasite". The characters here (not in "Parasite") are all unlikeable.

I cringe every time Min Hwan breathes around Yeo Ri. Especially since I'm 💯% sure he's a murderer. I hate that he ruins so many scenes with his insufferable presence!!! I want his arm broken every time he puts it behind Yeo Ri's back!!! Just GTFO, you creep!!! 🤬

No offence to the voice actor dubbing the Emperor but it's such a loss for this drama not to have CZY's incredibly imposing voice. Like, in every intense scene, I catch myself saying "yeah that's cool, but imagine if we heard CZY here..."🥺

I did read that he was unable to do the work but I'm still bummed I don't get to hear him speak in his unique way. 😓I'm PRAYING we get his original voice in "Chasing Dreams". 🤞

I knew the Japanese tried to occupy China and that they did horrible things to them (I've read about some really inhumane and disgusting torture methods they used on them) but these numbers are crazy... 😰

I've watched many K-Dramas set in the Japanese occupation era but this is my first C-Drama of the early 20th century and I was a bit lost about who the "enemy" is here.

Question since I'm not familiar with the historical context of this era (since they also haven't mentioned an exact date in the drama).
