Has anyone here watched Alchemy of Souls or Snowdrop? I’m thinking about giving them a try and would love to…
Alchemy of Souls is a MASTERPIECE. You should absolutely watch it. It's set in an imaginary Kingdom and it falls in the fantasy/historical category and there's the romance of course. Amazing characters, beautiful cinematography and music, intriguing plot that keeps you invested. The cast is just amazing and the chemistry through the roof. No K-Drama fan should miss it.

Snowdrop is kinda heavy and sad. It's mostly political, with some action and romance. I admit I skipped through a lot of stuff because it felt kinda repetitive at some points. Jung Hae In was my only reason to watch. His acting was fantastic as always. None of the other characters seemed interesting to me.

So sad this is ending without even trending on MDL. People are missing out.
Absolutely. It's the best K-Drama airing at the moment. It deserves at least a rating of 8.6/8.7. I hope people rate it higher after it ends!!

I mean literally the urge to slap that 'fat ass detective' whenever he was like "aniyaa JW is the murderer" I…
He's delulu because he wants to believe he did the right thing. I can totally relate to you wanting to slap him. Same here. I feel the need to scream every time he breathes 🤬

One of the two dead girls was ML's girlfriend but he was the only one with the sincere feelings. There's bromance…
Slowly but surely the police officer warms up to ML. The bromance is one of my favourite things in the drama.

I don't remember exactly but there was CCTV that captured him. He was set free though cause it was not hard proof and he denied it.

No, not really. She didn't resent him (although imo she should have been more supportive, I didn't like her treatment, towards her son). In fact, she mentioned she stayed at the village because leaving would mean she accepted her son's guilt. She wanted to cook for him and bought him clothes before her "accident". She also wrote letters to him but she never sent them.

Now, I'm wondering if they'll actually show any of these things in the finale... And btw, is ep14 actually the final episode or are there 16 like people say it shows on Hulu?!

BIG. HUGE. SPOILER WARNING FOR THE BOOK in the comment below so read at your own risk ⚠️🚨⚠️🚨⚠️🚨⚠️🚨⚠️🚨⚠️🚨⚠️🚨⚠️🚨⚠️🚨⚠️🚨⚠️
So, in the book, Su O was basically abused by the psychiatrist (who in the book is actually the wife, the roles are reversed and the husband is the politician). He might have been autistic but he would have been more lively and independent if it hadn't been for the heavy drugs the doctor prescribed him. They made him like a zombie half of the time so he would never speak about that night. They were psychopharmaceuticals, strong sedatives, only used for people with delusions and hallucinations. When mixed together they made someone stay in an amnesiac state. He was threatened that he'd be put in a clinic for the mentally ill for the rest of his life. He was basically tortured in the cruelest way possible. He stopped taking his meds when he became friends with Ha Seol.

Also, someone (the psychiatrist I think but picture the congressswoman in the drama) threw Ha Seol in a prison of some sort with barely any food or water where she was alone for days. It's because she found out the truth about Da Eun. Later, Su O somehow ended up locked there with her too. The place was cold and dump and at some point it started filling up with water . Su O became very ill and Ha Seol tried to keep him alive but he eventually became unresponsive. Ha Seol struggled to keep the both of them floating, the water was rising fast. When they found them after 10 days, Su O was half dead and she was completely exhausted. But thankfully they both lived.

Btw, the second title of the drama: "Snow White Must Die" exists because in the book, Da Eun's murderer, before he became a politician (again, picture the psychiatrist in our drama), he was a teacher in the school our main characters went. He gave Da Eun the role of "Snow White" in a school play.

Su O was in love with Da Eun. After her murder, the doctor, the politician and Su O's dad found him next to her body (they went there to take care of the corpse). Su O's dad thought of the cellar below the greenhouse to hide her. They brought her there but Su O wouldn't leave. So, the doctor implanted the idea in him, that he had to take care of her. The body ended up in a mummified state. I think he kept her with combed hair, clean clothes and red lipstick, brought her flowers. Gruesome sight, I'm sure...

Oh and btw the doctor (the politician in the drama) also shot Jeong U towards the end. But he didn't die. And he had Had Seol by his side while in the hospital. The culprits were arrested.

I would literally physically FIGHT anyone who would hurt a hair on Da On's head. 👿Our policeman/golden retriever…
Btw, my SATISFACTION whenever Justitia beats the hell out of those murderers/monsters. 🔥🔥🔥I love how she's giving them a GOOD taste of their own medicine. That's what's unique about this drama. Bad guys get what they freaking deserve 😈
