hey sorry to bother, im texting you cause youre the most recent online. so can i ask you a doubt? when jiwon returned…
Either it was never mentioned or I don't remember. But, let's construct a timeline.
Ji-Won and Min-Hwan met at work. Ji-Won starting working there 7 years ago in 2013. Ji-Hyeok's remembers seeing them together in 2011. So, it can be anywhere between 2-7 years.
In the initial 10 mins Beom-Woo seems highly capable director. After that I don't know what he turns into, but didn't like the reverse-character-development.
Then last 3 episodes. Underwhelming at best, and inconsistent at worst.
I usually don't drop dramas if they go haywire with storyline, but as a viewer I do deserve a logical resolution, which was missing in episode 7. Due to which I dropped it half-way in episode 7.
Maybe they are trying to draw a parallel here between ML and SML (YYS).
SML betrayed FL and avoided contact from there on. But, ML though will betray FL (him being in countryside with malicious intentions), he will actively try to apologise after-the-fact.
They have opened too many loose ends to tie in only 4 episodes. If it was a longer drama, I could've understood their approach. But, not here with 10 episodes!
Quality wise, it probably is among top 10 Kdramas of all times. It's a healing kind of drama showcasing struggles of people and their ways of coping/enduring/overcoming those struggles.
But, if you are looking for rom-com, fast-paced drama, light-heartedness: you probably won't like it.

2ML likes 2FL
FL likes ML first, and then ML starts liking FL
2ML have very few interactions, no liking each other in that sense.
On basis of that it was kind of good, but not great.
Though I do understand now how it could've been interpreted otherwise.
I watched on Netflix (subscription-based).
Since, I watched it long time back, I thought had missed out some scenes.

All things considered - I liked this one quite a bit.

Hence, FL will forgive ML.
