There is a time-skip of I think 2-3 years (watched it long back so don't remember precisely).

They get back in the beginning of episode 18.

It's good if you are into horror. You got to know the back story (rather know about the house) a little bit to enjoy it fully.

Due to multiple timelines, it gets slightly confusing at times.

Not sure. It might be one of the poltergeist created by house. It wasn't clear.

Horror genre is rarely rated high unless it has some other component.

After watching 5 movies and 1 drama on - 'The Grudge', I can safely say it never ends.

A good concept, a flawless execution and a very satisfying ending.

This is high quality story telling.

The reason rating may be low at this point might have something to do with the direction the story has taken. With too much focus on non-romance aspect of it. This has irked lots of viewers (excluding me, of course).

This might be different as leads get together around episode 3-4 in SITR. Most likely here, it won't be the case.

Frankly speaking, this is a good drama. Especially, I liked the song played at the end of episode 4.

If you don't know what to do next, do something you never do. It frees up your mind.

Probably because they've only 12 episodes, and they need to cover 2 additional major arcs - ex-boyfriend, ML's involuntary truth reflex.

I know what you mean. To a good extent, it maintains it's Eastern outlook. You can try it's first 2 episode. The vibe is same throughout.

If nothing else, I can say with surety it's better than Gyeongseong Creature. I couldn't finish Gyeongseong Creature.
