damn the episode went by fast! must be my curiosity about what happened to their relationship in college and their cute straight forward conversations in the beginning
I know when consuming fiction/entertainment you are supposed to suspend disbelief to some portion but OMG I can't…
I do agree about the annoying inbalance portraing male leads not even trying to date anyone else, but then writing female leads to date someone.
Maybe that bias comes from some cultural belief that males are less afraid of staying single. Or writers are probably overcorrecting to satisfy target demographic for females, by focusing more on the male leads feelings. Irdk…

Idk if it’s completely unrealistic to be obsessively unable to move on, I personally struggle with this mental trap for most of my life, but I get what you’re saying, it’s definitely less common.
However Korean romance tropes are often based on believing in one true love and fate. There’s a line in “Past Lives” that explains their reasoning.
He abandoned his peace to find hers 💔 He could’ve just turned them in and lived peacefully with the one who liked him. 😞
As for the ending, would’ve preferred showing her caught and in jail rather than missing… unless they’re saving it for another season, maybe they get out of this…
I love how Gi Jeong calls U Yeon’s little brother “brother in law”. He already knows he wants to marry her. 😭 Wish this drama could keep going and we see their future.
rare case, but this drama actually needed the 16 episodes, or 14, to wrap up the neglectful parents realizations more gradually, along with a few other supporting characters unexplored (unless there’s a spin off or something)
It’s more a story learning to stay together, rather than falling in love again
