Fair. Personal preference then. I don’t think it’s “high quality” either, but I still enjoyed the character interactions and performances. Good but could’ve been 1- 2 episodes longer to flesh out the remaining political plot though.
Edit: Nevermind, I understand now why they didn’t bother with 2 more episodes. Could’ve dragged if more episodes were added. Maybe just a few more minutes to the last episode to show ML’s perspective afterwards.
As for our main the friendship, JongHee has already been running away from JaPil because of her abusive past with her brother. I definitely see her staying away now that she has figured out Yeon Rye likes him too. I feel it’s going to be Yeong Rye’s brother who heals JongHee as she becomes comfortable enough to be in a relationship with a man again.
JaePil’s friend, Sang Chul deserves Yeong Rye more atm, but I’m so curious to see how this plays out with Jae Pil too. It could be cute if he falls for Jeong Rye back, but it also makes sense if it never happens because she missed her opportunities so many times.

True, the man pulling strings behind the scenes became the culprit. I too, assumed the FL didn’t know about those details. It’s the few comments that seem to blame the FL that confuse me.
I really hope in the next episode, FL friend, Gil Geum, at least survives, and ML exists in the future. Otherwise the ending will feel be too dark for a half light-hearted cooking political drama.

Since he didn’t, the rebels still have slaughtered everyone themselves. This revolt wasn’t in the original timeline. Right? How could she tell him something that never happened before?
Nope. ML#2 has a crush on FL. FL hides her crush on ML. ML has a crush on FL#2. FL#2 is trying to stay single for a reason. FL’s brother also seems to be crushing on FL#2. Even the FL’s brother’s friend has a crush on the FL. One-sided crushes for now...
