Great series and great acting!
I really enjoyed the fact that this bl is different from the usual school setting. The story was emotional but sometimes funny. Having read the book I was worried how they would end the series but no worries, it was great.The acting was so good with the standout actor being Mix who played Tian. He was really able to portray so many different emotions through facial expression alone. It was really impressive. Along with being handsome he is truly talented. I had never heard of him or seen him in anything but I hope I will in the future. Earth who played the chief was good also with the standout scene coming at the airport with the kiss. Even how Earth moved his head after the kiss allowed me to see his inner emotions. Very powerful scene. The actor portraying Longtae has been in many series and once again added so much to the series. I loved him in Tonhon Chonlatee and 2Gether and he was just as good in this.
If I were to be hyper critical, it would be 1) lack of kisses in the series and 2) the very small part for Drake who should have had a bigger role. Although explicit affection isn't necessary to show the connection, it would have helped the series seem more than a bromance.
All in all, it was an exceptional series with great directing and acting. I appreciate the changes made to the series to give a happy ending. I would love to see this go into a season 2.

Friendship that helps them both
I felt this was a positive movie that left me with a feeling that life is worth the struggle. The storyline is about two men who become important friends to each other. One has an incurable illness and the other has struggled since his dad died a year ago. Their friendship gives one strength to meet his end and the other the courage to follow his dream. It was glad I watched it. The acting of the two men is very good. Their body language and facial expressions really conveyed their feelings throughout the movie. Loved every single episode!
I loved this series. The acting was so good and there weren't any jarring missteps that take you out of the story to wonder what the director was thinking. That's a big deal for me as I watch for my own entertainment. I have put it on my top ten list and know that I will watch it again.The main female lead is very, very short. It even appears more so when the main male lead is so tall. It really didn't appear to hamper their romance. There were no irritating "misunderstandings" that I see so much of in other shows but there was still plenty of issues to keep it interesting.
I'm middle aged and didn't expect to like this series as much as I did. I highly recommend it!

Best BL series ever!
This was the very first boy's love series that I ever saw. I knew very little about it but watched it on youtube. I was so hooked I've told my friends and sister about it. Main leads, Jason and Simon, have incredible chemistry. Jason is a former special ops veteran who opened up his own security company and made his fortune while caring for his younger sister. Simon is a "Cooler" by occupation in which he cools down situations and handles media. In the book, though, he is a police officer. Regardless, he is also an international MMA Fighter who has won awards and is a known celebrity. He has such a wonderful personality...funny, happy, charming smile. Jason is the opposite. He is reserved, authoritarian, a product of the military.Jason's sister is infatuated with Simon but when she is unable to catch the aloof Simon she asks her brother for help. Used to the hooligans his sister usually attracts, Jason finds himself admiring the handsome Simon who is also spunky and a fighting force.
Every episode has scenes that are just brilliant. My sister and I have seen it more than 20 times now and still love it as much as the first time. We've been trying to get a DVD copy of it but have been unable to find one. If you are a fan of bl than you will love it, too.

Superb acting!
This a great story that is elevated even more by the superb acting of so many but I have to focus on the master of moods in this story, the actor Jo Han Chul. He portrays the villian with so much depth. You see the character's vulnerability, his fear of his father, his anger and desire to be loved by his father. He is at turns scary, mean, crazy and despite it all --- sympathetic at times to the viewer. This is such an ensemble cast that make the whole show so good. I followed it with enthusiasm wondering what would happen next. I just finished episode 14 and I am sad that I'm nearing the end because it has just been the greatest show I've seen in months and months.I plan to update my review when I've finished.

Great drama
I was surprised at some of the reviews I've seen here. It is such a great drama that I wondered if we even saw the same show. As usual, Gong Jun is fantastic as the wickedly smart firefighter with a heart of gold and a sensitive side. At first I wondered how the main female lead would pull off being a super smart and talented doctor because she seemed so silly in the first scenes where she appears to be a giggling boy crazy girl but it changed as I continued to watch and was able to see her true self come out. I really looked forward to every episode. Loved it and will watch it again.Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best romantic comedies that I've ever seen!
I found this series on viki.com and once I started watching it I couldn't stop. People talk about having a Netflix Marathon hangover...well, I had a Shopaholic King Louie hangover. It was so good. Every episode has supremely funny parts and the sad parts are so sincerely acted that I felt for every character, even the ones that weren't the "good guys".The main leads did an amazing job with the acting. The actor portraying Louie showed Louie's character as a well loved but protected grandson with sincerity. I felt for the poor rich boy and felt even more once he loses his memory. The relationship that develops between him and the main female lead is heart warming and tender. Both are innocent in the ways of the world and very trusting of others. The supporting characters were also well acted out and gave this series a real ensemble feel, each contributing to the success of the show.
The script was well written with funny scenes I had never seen in other shows I've watched. It felt very unique and warm. It was really a joy to watch. I loved how the American music that was selected fit each scene so perfectly. The playful scene dancing at the beach was filled with fun, wonder and innocent pleasures.
For anyone who contributed to the making of this series....thank you from the bottom of my heart. You really made me happy. Signed, an American Fan.

So funny!
I loved this series and hope they will have another season. The acting was top notch. I loved all the characters and laughed so much at the funny moments. This is a series that I have put on my top ten list. My adult sister and elderly mother also watched it and loved it. I love Korean shows and movies. They are so dramatic and funny. I watched it on Viki in the USA.I loved the interaction of the main female lead and her three handsome brothers. She is a PE Teacher and has a heart of gold. Seeing all the times she helps people throughout the series was priceless. Some of those times were hysterically funny.

My favorite new series of 2020
The story in the series trailer initially was what interested me in Oxygen but once I started watching I was struck by the talent of the actors. The different character stories are weaved together expertly. Although I found them all interesting, Gui and Solo's tremendous chemistry on screen quickly made them my favorite characters in the series. I found Gui's sober advice and caretaking of Solo to be striking as he is the smaller of the two men, taking on a role that usually isn't found in the smaller of a BL couple. Solo is tall, a talented musician and singer, and the younger of the two men. He comes across as vulnerable, solemn and quiet. I found the mix of their character personalities to be very intriguing and different from what is usually portrayed in this genre. The music performed in the series is wonderful. I have a hard time getting it out of my head after watching. It is without a doubt my favorite series of 2020 so far and I hope it comes back for a second season.Was this review helpful to you?
Incredibly good!
Two episodes in and I am addicted! The first episode set up the story and introduced all the characters. The acting of the four main leads is fantastic. It would be hard to say which actor I like the most as they are equally good. The chemistry between the actors makes it so believable. The storyline is sooo good...and funny. I can't wait to see each episode. Although I watch it on viki.com, I wish I could pay to see the whole series at one time. It would be worth it.
