True to Park Haeyoung’s style, there are so many lines that give you a harsh reality check. I think a lot of people will find themselves reflecting on their own lives while watching. I especially love the 'Emotion watch' concept—it’s such an intuitive way to show how characters are feeling! There’s not a single weak link in the acting, the leads have solid chemistry, and above all, Koo Kyohwan is perfectly cast as Hwang Dongman. He’s literally the human version of the character.
I absolutely love this drama... The writer is so talented; they have a real gift for making every single character feel so lovable. The humor is spot on, and since it focuses on the stories of women, it's such a comfortable watch. There's no rage-baiting or cheap 'hook' scenes, so it's not emotionally draining at all. The messages tucked inside are so moving, too. Seriously, if you haven't seen this yet, please give it a try! If you just binge-watch it without any thoughts, you’ll end up feeling so comforted. 🛋️✨
There were definitely some parts of the story and characters that made me scratch my head, but I had a great time watching it while poking fun at the plot. I don't think I'll ever see another female lead get a thumbtack stuck in her forehead ever again lol. Since the romance is pretty light, I’d recommend this to anyone who prefers plot over love lines!
Park Jihoon’s ability to command the screen is insane. The moment his face appears, everyone is forced to focus because of his visuals and the aura in his eyes. But then, as soon as he speaks, his voice, delivery, and overall vibe draw the audience right into the scene, making it impossible not to understand his character. That is truly a remarkable talent🥹💦
I don't even like baseball, but I am hooked. I feel so dumb for delaying this watch! If only I could go back and watch it live with everyone else. It’s a literal masterpiece ⚾️🔥
ep 2: Gong Seungyeon’s acting is actually insane... The way she serves the elegance of the Queen Dowager is crazy. Her aura is no joke, and she looks absolutely stunning. She’s killing this role!
ep 9: I can't get over the gap between her adorable bucket list and that serious adult handwriting. It’s so funny yet so incredibly sad. 🥺 It was such a creative and touching way to handle her sister’s goodbye—checking off those items felt like she was finally letting them both be free.
Currently loading: from Yi Hongwi to Kang Seongjae... 💕 Seongjae looks like he's going to be so lovely. Our little chestnut Seongjae needs all the head pats! 🫳🏻🫳🏻🫳🏻🫳🏻🫳🏻
A Grand Prince who isn't allowed to be good at anything vs. a child of a concubine who isn't allowed to fail at anything. Because they’ve lived such polar opposite lives, it totally makes sense that their values are so different. I love how Yi An find Heejoo fascinating and cute, while Heejoo just finds him incredibly annoying. Everything about their dynamic is so understandable..
How could they make them a couple and then break them up 10 minutes later?! Give me my sweet, innocent couple back! My heart hasn't even finished celebrating the confession yet
ep 6: watching Lee Sangyi sit so patiently with grandma Ra Okja, helping her trace those letters in her notebook, was one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen..🥹 He didn't just teach her how to write; he gave her his full presence and respect. Seeing a 92-year-old student and her 'vacation teacher' sharing a dictation lesson was a moment of pure, unfiltered humanity. My heart is so soft for him right now💓🫶🏻
The behind-the-scenes footage of the 'grand prince couple’s' park date, featured in the teaser video, is also drawing a lot of attention. IU and Byeon Wooseok add to the heart-fluttering excitement with their subtle smiles as they look at the camera with playful expressions, striking poses as if they are dancing. A park date.. 😳
I’ve just started watching and my heart is already so full. 🌿 There is something so profoundly moving about seeing these stars trade the glitz of the city for a small, quiet shop in the countryside. The way Park Bogum looks into the eyes of the elderly villagers, listening to their life stories with such sincerity while he works... it’s beautiful. It’s not just a variety show; it’s a reminder of the power of human connection and the simple kindness of a conversation. It’s exactly the healing my soul needed
Kang Min Ah is so finewhat happens to her character? never watched season 1keep seeing her character in clip with…
You’re right, she is looking incredible this season! To answer your question: her character actually just joined the cast for season 2, so you won’t find her in the first season at all. As for the man in the clips, that’s Lee Ujeong, a policeman. There isn't actually a love interest for her character—they’re strictly working together on the case. Honestly, she’s blooming in season 2 and her acting is so sharp!
Kang Minah is absolutely killing it in episodes 3–5! I’ve missed her acting so much, and honestly, she suits the thriller/crime genre perfectly. Her performance as Jina is so magnetic—she can be seductive, cold, and cruel all in one breath. I really hope this role opens doors for her to lead more dark, high-stakes projects. She has so much talent and a range that definitely deserves more spotlight!
Just finished ep 1 and holly freak... I haven’t even watched season 1 yet, but I got inhaled by all the support on social media and had to see it for myself. From the first episode alone, I can tell this is going to be a very hard, intense watch, but I am already amazed! The action choreography is on another level. I cannot wait to binge-watch the rest of this!
It’s a wrap! 🎬 I am so ready for the Zhang Jingyi and Chen Jingke era. The chemistry in the filming clips has been insane, and knowing they've finished means we’re one step closer to seeing Ren Dongxue and Cheng Xia on screen🫳🏻🫳🏻🫳🏻
ep 14: the intimacy, the yearning, the silent consent... it was all so perfectly executed. I loved the way he paused just a breath away from her lips, lingering there with those half-lidded eyes overflowing with unspoken, barely contained love. That feather-light caress on her forehead felt more intimate than any kiss could have.
Seriously, if you haven't seen this yet, please give it a try! If you just binge-watch it without any thoughts, you’ll end up feeling so comforted. 🛋️✨
