Asking ANYONE (or ALL those) who has already watched the FULL DRAMA AND LOVED IT WHOLLY.

Am.trying to watch this Drama because it's REACHED the HIGHEST viewership and displaced CLOY and GOBLIN.

CONFUSION (what's puzzling)

So IF we keep we keep in mind the fact that FL &ML have been married for 3-4 years questions that pop in my mind :

- what caused the severe drift post early days or hooking up
(for eg. dating - proposing - getting married - going through the early days of insane chemistry and totally into each other).

Guessing we will see the arc of the falling out later...was it a slow falling out?

Or is there a sudden, drastic event that caused the rift?

Again - If they fell out with each other over time and got jaded...why are they acting so coy around each other all of a sudden - it's been 3 years!!! You havent just met !!

In Ep 3 scenes between them are playing out like a "contract marriage" category Drama.

That they had no relationship or feelings between them - got married due to pragmatic considerations...and though ML had some initial feels for her, post marriage he got the short end of the stick, therefore soon after his feels went south??

She liked the attention from this forward handsome fellow - but wasn't into him at all except as a lackey for the family and the company??

If above is the situation as it exists in Ep 1-3
Then the slow "growing awareness of each other - physical attraction - new flutters" WORKS..
The way the scenes are being set up makes sense.

His shyness to unzip her blouse - her shock at seeing his bare torso - the flushing as she rewinds the boar killing scene in her head - his discomfort and hesitation to climb into bed or change and shower in the same bath - his curiosity at the ex-bf popping up and silky smooth moves on FL etc all WORK if this was a "no relationship - contract marriage they signed up for". Instead of being time bound it was a lifetime sign on.

ENJOYING :

The mystery of the Boar Attack on FL is interesting.

The US returned DIL who swigs whiskey neat is a riot - loving her

The crazy aunt with a sharp no nonsense eye is amusing; xexcept when she loses it completely.
FL seems to have inherited that strain of anger and cold calculation.

Hilarious BLACK comedy when ML is worried that FL will survive cancer and he does in depth research which FL totally MISREAD as his affection.
HA HA HA HA..that's one of my fave funny scene as of now.

Somehow I can't yet believe that a show can reach the heights of CLOY without having SOME SOLID redeeming quality.

God knows how I've felt stung by severe language that had little to do with thoughts or opinion on drama that I adored and more on the person.

But I hope I can stay Shrek-like and not be mud-slung for expressing my deep slump.

Believe me, when I knew that WLIS would pull me deep into withdrawal symptoms, I was banking on this as my go to - I didn't even peek at QOT I was so sure it would rock me back into KDrama lap...

How did this Drama beat CLOY and GOBLIN?

Just it's 2 eps would need to BEAT past 400 KDrama first 2 eps of even B minus (less than rating 6.5) shows before it can even take a peek at CLOY🫢🤔


Okay, DISCLAIMER : Am here fresh from watching WLIS ( Will Love In Spring) and I am here on KDrama watch after 9 months of living solely on Cdrama.

Feeling totally lost at the disconnect with KDrama (which I inhabited exclusively for 3 years).

How did audience taste CHANGE so randomly and drastically????!!!!

I REALLY hope someone who fell in love and was completely swept away at Ep 1-2 of this drama will come forward and share the magic and beauty that I have missed.

I've lost my sight too I think - can't see an iota of artistic lighting or Cinematography nor hear any evocative OST.

It has used the WORST and cheapest story telling plot moving devices..

This might be sounding like trolling - but trust me - am losing my mind trying to understand this and absolutely have no troll instincts...

I WANT TO hear a lover extol to high heaven what seductive beauty in the first 2 eps (and beginning of 3) put him / her in a tizzy of blazing excitement

I have Rising With the Wind on my PTW ;-p

I am yet to watch JOL 1
It's saved in my Cookie Jar - only for those BAAAAD stretches when there is NOTHING.

During a phase that is the "Winter of Our Discontent" with lack of quality drama ;-p

I watched the show's EP 18-21 (out of PIG-UGLY, HAIRY GREED on the terrible terrible pathetic MACHINE translated KissH - my first time knowing such a platform exists LOL) so it was lost in translation ..

It felt like a foreign language although the words were English .. It's like they took the words and scrambled them up and wanted you to LIVE unscramble and GET what they are saying.

I got a horrid headache ..

So I WILL rewatch once it's been decently bathed and washed and changed and sprayed with cologne for a VIKI appearance ..

Just like I watched L&P to catch a lot of the stuff that slipped away .. I want to do the same with this.
