Same. I don't need a sappy forced HE. I want an appropriate ending because I already know these two will live…
ROFL
@paxxie 'live rent free in my mind" :-D
What a phrase .. going borrow and use it.
You echo my thought FULLY.
I LOVE dramas that stay true to their direction of development .. And I too immensely dislike FORCED HE .. leaves a stale taste ..
The way the unforgettable Twenty One - Twenty Five ended !!!
SPOILER ALERT for anyone wishing to watch it in future :
Ufff I LOVE THAT DRAMA to death .. but that ending ripped me to shreds even as I FULLY LOVED the ending that way .. It had prepped us for it .. couldn't have been any OTHER way .. I'd not have loved it so deeply if it wasn't that way.
It wouldn't have lived "RENT-FREE" in my head all these months and months ..
Haven't even dared to do a rewatch of 21-25 I steer clear of it. The Bruising is TOO REAL LIFE.
I think he didn't, in the beginning, at least not in the train .. he was lost in his own world looking out the window. And she didn't have her crutch and she was a chatty, flirty, extrovert and her looks had changed too. He must have been used to girls making moves on him .. and getting up and walking away must have been his defence mechanism in those situations.
It was 10 years since he bumped into her.
He must have wracked his brains ..
Maybe they will talk about that train encounter at some later point in the show ;-p We will get to know then LOL
I think it's way more real and romantic that he was taken by complete surprise, and discomfort LOL
This series had its flaws but I think it was overall much better in terms of storytelling and character development…
Shudder!!! At the thought of how shallow , superficial and silly Netflix version was .. Typically targeted towards a 'low intellect' audience as MOST mass American audience are .. Best to leave Star Wars to them to play with ;-D
I have had it on my PTW list since it released on Viki. I tried reading the book ;-p BUT it needed some serious focus to navigate which at that moment I couldn't muster.
I am watching this AFTER watching the AMERICAN NETFLIX version by the GOT team of Benioff ..
JUST BLOWN AWAY!!!!
The Netflix version compared to this looks so shallow, so poor, so superficial .. total cartoon without a 'scent' of Cixin Liu's grand vision in the novel.
On Ep 15.
It's so cerebral .. am slow chewing my way through its beauty.
One is very young .. and her mind must have been on other things .. I LOVE the realness of that too.
SO many of us have left school or moved cities and continents and never thought of connecting back .. one wouldn't over a long distance do something like that - it would be like 'confessing' ;-p
Whatever was there was 'unspoken'.
That's why they barely recognised each other on the train. She remembered him more than he did.

Shallow superficial flat ..

Took a peek on Dramacool.
13-14 has dropped.
Not scrolling here any more here until I have watched those two .. It's a MINE FIELD of un-SPOILER tagged discussions
Ha ha ha ha

I don't plan to start until WLIS wraps .. Luckily it's dropping two helpings each day.
Today is Ep 13-14
Another 3-4 days I guess?
Ep 21 might be clubbed with Ep 19-20 OR will be a stand alone one ;-p
You think that happened after the airing of the FINALE??
Ot was neck and neck after Ep 14 aired.
