Autumn Shower is more than just a love story. It is a story about love and loyalty; its profound meaning despite its uncertainty; the search for its validity in pain and tragedy and most of all its fleeting quality.

I was drawn to this drama because somehow it is like watching a long movie with a nice going “poetry feel” to it. There are no villains and scheming plots, just passionate characters put into situations wherein they have had to make difficult choices and therefore go through one consequence after another.

It was hard not to empathize with each of the main characters because they were very well molded and also played well by the actors/actresses. I find that their actions and reactions to the circumstances are well justified by their characters. Although some have gone to the extremes, I still think they are within reason as they were moved by overwhelming emotions.

Jeong Ryewon is such a great actress here, the cute scenes were cute and the emotionally pulling scenes were solid. Oh Jiho’s crying parts though not yet his best in this drama weren't as bad as to ruin one's viewing pleasure.. (perhaps his good looks is enough compensation =))

I hope more viewers take time to watch this drama. I’m writing this review after a second re-watch. If you are up to some seriously thought provoking moments on love, this drama is sure worth your time immersing in.

What's unique with this drama is the captivating visuals that go along with the simple plot and the complicated personalities of the four main characters. I liked how the story started and became interested as to how each character developed as they interact with each other. Towards the end I think it focused more on the parallelism between the two stories told, hence it became a bit blurry as to where it was going but nevertheless, the drama was concluded nicely.

The acting was great and so was the music!

I would definitely watch it again because I think there is more to this drama than its simple love story.

While this drama is truly sad, its storytelling is beautiful and remarkable. I don't think that I'd be able to erase it from my memory for a long time. Hands down to the brilliant acting by the main leads! Kim Rae Won's expressions of grief will be too hard to forget not to mention Soo Ae's blank stares each time her illness takes over.
Alongside, the supporting characters and backstories were sufficient and realistic enough to draw out the main plot. Although at first I found the pacing slow, I realized that it was intended to be as such to give more chance for the viewers to be attached so that when it is time to withdraw, there will be more tension, more tears and more tugging at the heart. :(
Towards the last few episode I began to worry of how the ending would go but it sure was ended well.
As for re-watching, as emotionally haunting as it, I'd recommend a few more months of rom-coms before doing so.
